Brno - the second largest Czech city. He is 2.5 hours drive from Prague. And also, not far from Brno to Vienna and Bratislava. Walking, as they say. Brno-Created a cozy town! Spielberk Castle (HRAD SPILBERK)

Take a look into the kitchen and dungeon, former prison cameras on the first floor (today there is the exposition "Spielberk - Prison Peoples"). Rear to the viewing platform in the corner tower and admire a gorgeous view of the city - because the castle stands on the hill (the tower, it seems, it works only in the summer). If you are hungry, go to the restaurant right there on the territory. After you can stroll through the park that surrounds the castle, and the entire park is written by paths leading to the castle. The shortest, from Gusov Street (Husova). Automotive Road Street (Uvoz). As a rule, the castle can be visited from 9 am to 5 or 6 pm. Anyway, come to the castle early, at least an hour before closing, and then you may not sell tickets. The entrance is worth about 3.5 €.

Kapuchin Monastery (Klášter Kapucínů)
The monastery was built in the 17th century. The main value of the monastery is the tomb where the relics of 16 monks are stored. In the headboards of the tombs (that is, they also lie without coffins, just like this) - two bricks (all according to the charter of the monastic order of Kapuchin). Very interesting, the air circulation system in the crypt is very interesting - that is why the bodies were not exposed to decomposition and look today very ... Khe ... Good. In addition, the monastery is buried 150 bodies of burghers and city aristocrats. For example, from the most famous, Franz von Trenk is resting here - the warlord of the Austrian army, who handed over most of his condition to the Order of Capuchins. His power is stored in a glass coffin. There is a monastery from morning to 16:30 with a lunch break. From December 15 to February 14, the monastery does not work. Adult ticket costs about 2.5 €, children and pensioners - 1 €. You can photograph in the monastery, but it is also paid. By the way, especially impressionable, children and pregnant women in the monastery is better and not comes at all. Preserved bones and bodies - definitely, the spectacle is not for the faint of heart.

Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul (KatedRál Asvatého Petra A Pavla)
This Gothic Cathedral stands on the top of the hill in Brno. Very significant and famous architectural monument. This cathedral is visible from many points of the city. The construction is very beautiful. It is impressive on all sides, as they say: Luxury altars, the Romanesque tomb of the XII century, the statue of Madonna with a baby, stained glass windows depicting scenes from the life of the saints, the Cabinet Department (a monk preaching in the cathedral in the middle of the 15th century. They say, healing people at once!) The same two towers of 81 meters are impressive in height and hours, which always beat at 11 o'clock in the afternoon. This tradition is devoted to the events of 1645, when the rhodere in the cathedral did not call at noon, as usual, but before, in 11, and thus saved the city and citizens during the siege of his Swedes. Tourists can be found in the tomb (though, on weekdays only with the permission of the leadership of the Cathedral), the treasury of the cathedral and the South Tower, where you can climb and from where the luxurious view of the city offers. If the Cathedral hosts service, a wedding or funeral, well, or some other religious holidays, a cathedral, estimated, closed. Tickets are not expensive, no more euro pair, but a cathedral is working up to 5 or 6 pm, depending on the time of year.

Old Town Hall (Stara Radnice)
This is the oldest secular construction in Brno. Her peak is visible from afar. And besides the town hall is beautiful. Impressive figurines of the squire, which support the ancient coat of arms Brno next to the entrance to the town hall, and this, of course, not all. About this building is a lot of legends in the people who have already become fairy tales. The legend of the Brensk Dragon states that a terrible dragon declared somehow in the city, who was revealed and attacked cattle. One of the inhabitants worked in the meat shop, guessed to heal in the skin of an animal for an overtime lime. The dragon missed the poisoned "animal", began to drink, the lime began to quit and the dragon burst. Well, the scarecrow is a terrible monster hanged in the old town hall. There is another legend, which is called "Legend of the Wheel". She talks about the fact that in the small town of Lednitsky, one cheerful guy lived, who argued somehow with friends who can beat the tree, pull out the wheel from it and get to Brno. And the guy did everything that I argued, I drove to the Town Hall, I asked the priest acknowledgment and went home. These are ridiculous and funny stories.
And the building and the truth is beautiful. Rear to the Overview Tower of the structure, which is located at an altitude of 60 meters and admire the city views. And if you do not go inside, then at least admire the outside, and if you are lucky, you will fall on some cultural event held before the town hall (Cultural Center of the city, all the case). It works the town hall from April to September every day is still late (sometimes up to 10 pm).
