Probably, any journey through Prague begins with this place. Old Town Square is the heart of Prague, it is always full of people here, at any time of the year and day, tested for yourself. So do not even hope to make beautiful photos without a crowd of tourists. But getting here, you feel like in the scenery to the medieval film: what is only the Town Temple towers and astronomical clock with figurines on the town hall, which show the date, time of sunrise and sunset, the moon phases and a lot more. By the way, every hour of these hours is going to be a huge crowd of people to see how the figures around the clock "come to life" and arrange a real representation. The area is located on a pedestrian area, it is completely covered with a parallery, in principle, like nearby streets. You can get to this place on the subway from almost any part of the city, the station is called Stalestration, coming out of the subway, you need to follow the signs and in 5-7 minutes you are in place. At the old-fashioned area, you can admire the focus of magicians and street artists, admire the medieval architecture, ride Sigwee, to buy souvenirs, acquire a tour or go to all grave and arrange a gastronomic tour of cafes and restaurants of Prague.
On the old-fashioned area there are small stalls and counters, where they prepare a delicious food: sheds, kebabs, huge hot dogs, here, of course, serve beer. But most of all I liked meat soup in a bun, this dish became a real symbol of Czech cuisine for me. By the way, the prices here do not bite at all, although this is the very center of Prague.
