Curonian Spit turned out to be truly an amazing place. Here, on a relatively small territory, different landscapes are combined, different impressions and recreation formats.
This is a narrow strip of land, one side of which is the Curonian bay, on the other - the Baltic Sea. There are many tourist routes here. Moreover, with attractions you can get acquainted both in the composition of sightseeing groups, and independently (the routes are clear, equipped with pointers and stands with information).
Throughout braid - recreation centers, private houses, mini-hotels. So there will be no problems with searching for housing. Periodically, on the way there are wooden stalls with smoked fish, snacks and, of course, famous local goods from amber.
Here are wonderful beaches with small, white sand. True, who wants to swim in the Baltic Sea should be understood that this is not a southern resort and the temperature of the water here, as a rule, a somewhat extreme. But in the bay water is much warmer.
But the main magnet of these places is nature. Pine, mixed forests and fantastic dunes! Routes pass on special wooden pares. You can easily see the moose, a root, a boar, a fox or a stork. If you are lucky - you can enjoy forest strawberry.
Amazing impressions left the "Dancing Forest" - a place that is considered anomalous. The fact is that an unknown force literally twists the trunks of trees, forcing them to grow bizarre. It is concerned that there is a strong energy field, but, despite all the superstitions and fears, tourists are confident that touching such a living "wooden bending" - plus to health and good luck.
