And again Portugal, it would seem small, I would even say a small country, and leaves the brightest impressions!
The town of Sintra, probably, can be called one of the most charming, romantic and fabulous places in the world! This unique and old city attracts and attracts a huge number of tourists with their amazing and magnificent architectural buildings and parks around them.
You can get to Sintra from Lisbon railway station by train just for 35-40 minutes. With the railway station, Sintra walk buses on which you can drive around and visit all the main attractions of this town. To do this, you will need to buy a ticket that is worth five euros, you can leave the bus at stops, to visit you liked the sights, and then sits on the next bus that arrived along the same ticket. But this order is valid only in one direction, following in the opposite direction, you will have to fork out another ticket. In principle, the castles and palaces can be reached on foot, but not everyone will be under power.
Since Sintra was a summer royal residence, respectively, here the National Palace is located here - a place where the monarchs spent the summer period, externally, no particularly noteworthy, the only thing that rushes into the eyes is huge conesoid pipes. Not interested in externally, this palace, many simply pass by, and in vain!
The internal decoration of the palace is striking and admired! Stunning halls are not only painted, but are decorated and laid out with a ceramic tile whole pictures! I really liked the Swan Hall, where the balls and ideas were held.
The stunning and amazing lounge of forty was very high, it turns out that he was painted so to punish the courtiers, who loved to prosecute about one of the monarchs.
The courtyards of the palace are very cozy, it is for them that one can determine that once the palace was the ownership of Moorish monarchs.
Not far from the National Palace is the City Hall.
Probably the most fabulous and magical castle in the world, which, it would seem, can be seen only in fairy tales, films, books, or in a dream, but no, here it is the castle of foam! For myself, I called it "Marshmallow Strawberry". Foam Castle is unique and unique! Each side of the castle is absolutely different, it seems that in front of you the castle collected from different structures, many and variety of turrets, arches and teeth, round, square, cone-shaped, as if it was collected from the children's designer. All facilities belong to different styles, various shapes and colors.
Balconies and windows of the castle are decorated with an incredible modeling!
Inside, as it should be the castle, everything is immelled in luxury. Very surprised unusual ceilings decorated with bulk painting - it seems that it is a modeling. The first floor is decorated with beautiful stained glass windows. It was very interesting to look into the kitchen and see a considerable collection of copper dishes.
The castle of foam is located on the rock and towers over syntre. Views that open from his balconies on the city, capture and shake, so beautiful!
Finding into the castle of foam, the first thing that comes to mind: "Wow!". He wants to get around from all sides, climb on every turret! Nowhere else will you meet anywhere!
Like the park surrounding the castle, because here you can walk for hours on labyrinths from tracks and paths, enjoying the beauty of plants, flowers, trees brought here from all over the world!
A wonderful view of the Foam castle opens a wonderful view of the Moor Fortress, which was built in defensive purposes - to protect Sintra. To get into the fortress in the literal sense will have to crawl and climb, so it's hardly worth doing with younger children. The Fortress of Moors is a stunningly beautiful place where nature reunited with the fortress walls, the rocks merge and go into the walls of the fortress, and then in the council trees!
The incredible feeling that you get to another dimension, for several centuries ago. It is surprising that, despite the fact that the fortress was erected in the eighth century, her walls were preserved quite well. It's just indescribably beautiful place, they are simply impossible to suck out!
Well, and the most mysterious place in Sintra is the manor of Kinta da Regaleir. This is an amazing and fascinating, I would even say mystical place. Covering here, it seems that I got into a fairy tale to an evil wizard. Among the huge park, many different towers and turrets, bridges, underground grots, caves, not the house, not that palace, a tiny chapel and all this in the dark gray colors. Running into the amazing world of underground caves and tunnels, it is necessary to take a flashlight with you so that they do not have to do to the touch, as they are not rich in the lighting. Walking around the turrets and screw stairs can be moved to the next level of the estate.
The main attraction of the estate of Rigaleera is a dedication well, who reminds the tower turned upside down, from which the labyrinths of underground moves begin.
Very unusual, interesting and incredible place that must be visited! By the way, a ticket to the estate of Rigaleera costs only six euros, which is much cheaper than the rest of the castles and palaces, together with the ticket give out a plan for the location of the estate.
And another Sintra Palace - Montserrat Palace - elegant and beautiful, and most importantly, still still secluded (tourists there are not many). This palace is very small in its sizes, but at the same time quite cozy. Surprisingly beautiful modeling and carving create the impression that the entire palace is created from Lace.
With great pleasure, I visited the kitchen, with all its utensils, what it was in those times.
A wonderful park surrounded by Montserrat, with a streams and a waterfall, divided by plots. Here you can find a garden of roses, cacti, babysitting and even Christmas tree from New Zealand, familiar to us Aloe, but at the same time incredible sizes! The park is very interesting, thanks to the plants brought from everywhere!
Which was surprised and pleased me in Sintra - it stops, I did not meet such a city!
Sintra is a real treasury of Portugal, which preserved the amazing palaces and castles that fascinate the tourists who arrive here for more than one century!
