Krasnodar region is truly health resort of our country. I visited here just once and realized that this health rescue is not for me. Why? There are plays here, but there are enough minuses. Rested in Gelendzhik. The town is cozy, clean, very welcoming, with modern infrastructure. Rest fell on July a month in the midst of the season. The rest was so much that it was sometimes problematic to find a free space on the beach, as well as get to the sea between people lying on the sand. It was necessary to go cautiously to not step on someone. This is for me the first minus relaxing on the Black Sea coast.
As for the sea. Gelendzhik is located in the bay, for this reason, the sea is always dirty, they float algae, and there are plenty of bulls from cigarettes. Our people remain faithful to their habits. That's the second minus - the sea. To buy in clean water, you can rent a boat for a while and float into the blue bay. Here they get true pleasure from sea water.
And even minus rest here is climate. High humidity, high temperature. Although they used protective creams, but burned yet.
In the evening, as well as most resort towns, bars and restaurants, souvenir shops work. It's nice after the heat just stroll along the embankment. In the summer season, artists come here, whose performances are held on the best platforms of the city.
Because rest for me is not only the sea-sun-beach, but also an active pastime, managed to travel to the nearby areas for sightseeing. An interesting excursion for Dolmen and Herakla and Aphrodite Medicine Baths or climbing on the funicular at the highest point of the city, overlooking the bay.
From the point of view of accommodation there were no problems. I lived in the so-called Greek quarter in a separate cottage. Nutrition in payment was not included. You can lunch in small cafes, which are located on the waterfront. The cost of lunch is about 100-150 rubles.
If you drive a savage, then rest can be called profitable, and if you book a place in the boarding house, then accommodation and meals will cost more than rest, for example, in Turkey or Egypt.
In general, the impressions of rest in the Krasnodar Territory remained good, but there was no more here and so far there is no desire to return.
