Here are just two days, as you returned from traveling by cars in Sochi. Naturally, we could not do without not to look into, perhaps, the best resort of our childhood is Gagra. Abkhazia met us hot sun and excellent weather in general! Amazing beauty of nature - mountain landscape, black sea, warm pebbles on the beach, amazing trees and still blooming shrubs!
Of course, Gagras cannot be compared today with fashionable resorts of the same Cyprus, Canary Islands or even Turkey! But here there is its own charm, its own, incommunicating with nothing, atmosphere. Friendly locals, happy faces, low prices and dishes remembered since childhood - all this charged us so powerfully positive that we decided to stay in Gagra for a week (initially planned only for a day to go).
I can say that the beaches in Gagra though not equipped at the last Danie fashion, but still are at a high level. Sun beds there can be rolled, umbrellas too. Directly at the entrance to the beach are a cozy cafe, where you can order everything that will require the stomach at that time. I don't even understand why these cafés are called cafes, and not restaurants, since I didn't see the difference.
The nights were warm, it was possible to walk through the beach and admire the reflection of the huge moon in the waters of the cute heart of the Black Sea. We also got out into one of the nightclubs there. And we were calmly let in the style of Cazhal, without requiring any observance of the dress-code. But the club did not surprise us with nothing, as we are accustomed to them at home. So, it's not worth the story about it, I think. We simply emphasize that the possibility of night entertainment in Gagrah is available.
I want to say that because of more than reasonable prices, a lot of tourists from Russia comes to Gagra. In this regard, it is possible to count on privacy on the beach and a relaxing holiday, only going to the old Gagra. But in the event that if you want to go to Gagra with children, I recommend to take a little more planned amount with me, and everyone is friendly to visit the local water park. Cool slides and plenty of attractions, jacuzzi in the open sky, artificial river, underwater bar - this is what awaits you!
We want to go back there for a few days in August to visit the local fruit market. So I want to try Churchhel, the freshest peaches, and the other gifts of the Caucasus, what words do not pass! But in June they have not yet matured, alas! :)
