You can walk along Stockholm with a pawnist, you can rent a bike and ride through the beautiful streets, and you can use urban transport. Here is a couple of tips on how to move on Stockholm and generally a little about the transport of the city.
Suburban train of Arlanda Express ("Arlanda Express")
This train connects Arlanda Airport with the Central Station of Stockholm. This is the fastest way to get from the airport to the center of Stockholm (the path takes about 20 minutes, and the train "flies" at a speed of up to 215 km / h), from where you can already transfer to the subway or buses to the hotel. These trains have been going for over 15 years. Arlanda Express is, the same, the most environmentally friendly way of movement between the airport and the Stockholm itself. Trains are sent every 15 minutes. You can sit on the train in the southern airport block, where the 2nd, 3rd and 4th terminal are located. The end station is a block with a terminal 5. The fare costs 260 kroons (about $ 38) at one end, for people up to 26 years old, the fare costs 130 kroons (19.5 dollars), and children up to 8 years old. Tickets are bought at the office of the company at the airport and at the Central Station, in special automata, or on the official website of the transport company, which will be slightly cheaper (www.arlandaExpress.com). It may be cheaper thanks to these tickets (and they are not cheap!). For example, it is now going to share that from Thursday to Sunday, people under 17 can move free of charge, and two adults can buy one ticket for two for 280 kroons. Groups from 10 people are also provided with discounts (though, only adults are taken into account), and groups from 20 people discount even more. The time of sending the train slightly changed at different periods of the year. But usually the first departure occurs around 04:30 from Stockholm and at 05:05 from the airport. Last departure from Stockholm - at 00:35, from the airport - at 01:05.
Airports
In the Stockholm area there are four airports. Stockholmsky Arlanda Airport Airport is the largest international airport, and Bromma Airport (Bromma Stockholm Airport) is closest to the city. Skavsta Airport (Skavsta Airport) and Westerås Airport (Västerås Airport) Located approximately one and a half hours to the south and west of Stockholm, respectively.
The fastest way to move between Stockholm and Arlanda, as I have already written above, is carried out on the Arlanda Express train. By the way, the Stockholm Metropolitan is a single metro system in Sweden.
