I was in Egypt twice, the first time I was in Hurghada and was not disappointed, I really wanted to visit Egypt yet, I really attract their All Inclusive system. Absolutely, I will return to Egypt more than once, the cities there is there. In Hurghad, we were in September, the people were enough, it can even be said not to say, and in Marsa Alam decided to fly to the May holidays. The choice fell on this city because I wanted to relax from people, and especially from Russians, divers usually rest in such cities, and they are friendly and calm. In order to experience all the joys of Ol Inclusive, ordinary people fly to Charm or Hurghada. Relax in Marsa Alam is much cheaper than in the above cities. The Moscow-Marsa Alam direct flight is 4.5 hours. You can get to the city and otherwise, the Moscow-Hurghada plane (3 hours), then the bus is 270 km (3 hours).
The city is small, the local population, as in all Egypt, or works in the tourist business or is engaged in agriculture.

As we told the hotel guide, the sea is so clean because it is not a single river in the Red Sea, because the rivers are just carrying sand, Il and dirt, plus it rare in Egypt, but not everyone likes what about the shore is very finely. In Hurghada there was a tour of a submarine with a transparent bottom, here in Marsa Alam, you can see all this without an excursion, just on the beach. In the city itself, we were on the first day, it looks like a ghetto, local live very poorly, I did not have a lot of desire to walk through the streets. Naturally there are souvenir benches, but this is their approach to customers, to run and scream so that I bought something .. Yes, I even need it, I will not buy from principle. I do not like to go outside the hotel, except for excursions. Hurghada is somehow careful and cleaner looks. On the excursions did not go, in all cities of Egypt, they offer the same - Jeep Safari, immersion, desert. Luxor I saw, Cairo I hope I will see a safari on an amateur, I will not go anymore, but I have enough dive with my head in the hotel. I do not think that I will return to Marsa Alam again. And by the way, in my opinion, the city is not suitable for recreation with children. And on the beach there is dangerous, and in general boring, nor water parks, no amusement parks. Families with young children are not exactly here.
