The small village of Khajuraho known to the whole world, thanks to the next 20 square kilometers around the temple complex, has a good effect on Indian standards, transport accessibility. It is worth at least to start with the fact that in 5 kilometers from the village there is a small airport, which does not have a large number of cities in India. Khajuraho Airport receives flights of two Indian Airlines and Jet Airways, which in turn arrive from Mumbai, Delhi and Varanasi. The airfare is the fastest way to get to this interesting place, however, there is also your minus. Flights are designed exclusively on tourists and are not cheap, by local standards. For an example, a flight from Delhi in 2 and a half hours will cost a minimum of $ 70, subject to early (in two weeks) booking.
More economical, but also more costly option is a train. At the moment, an adequate railway route is one, this Delhi is Kajuraho. Trains go three times a week, time in the way about 10 and a half hours, the price is 4-12 US dollars depending on the class class.
