I have a birthday in early March. Here we and I decided to escape from the cold and frosts in order to arrange a holiday and for the soul, and for tired of cold and winter clothes tel. The choice fell on Panji. All guidebooks say that this little town looks more like Portugal than in India, but still do not see - do not believe that it is so! Very neat home, the streets are posted with paving slabs and right on them you can buy seasonings that our hosts can dream about
On the very first day of our arrival there was a pleasant incident: we asked a taxi driver to lend us to the local market - I wanted to buy precisely seasonings, which were remembered above and some souvenirs. We always buy souvenirs immediately by arrival, so that it has not been later that they did not have enough money. So the taxi driver misunderstood us and brought to the local monastery. I, however, was surprised that we were going for a long time. But here are such low prices that even the landscapes of the country admired the landscapes even with interest! An overwhelming culture of European and Indian surprised: the Christian and Buddhist shrines were visible everywhere. And here we arrived. It turned out that this kind person delivered us to the monks who learn tourists yoga and also diagnosed with each desireing skin, nails, the smell of sweat.
Five thousand (!) Buddhists live in the territory of this monastery, among which there are a lot of young novices. Here everyone is engaged not only by yoga, a and the treatment of tourists. From here you will come out with a pile of various herbs, fees, ointments - and all this is only for the equivalent of 5 euros!
Our holidays have passed so that I remembered the visit of a hungry person to someone's named: the information and impressions grabbed so quickly that they did not have time to comprehend. They decided that "understanding" is at home :) on Goa, especially the Northern, where the tourist infrastructure is more developed, the night view of the holiday flourishes - there are plenty of entertainment institutions on ships and barges: from discos and to a casino. Here, here for 30 euros, ordered a night journey around the sea to fall in love with the view of the burning lights, which were attached to the journey of special romanticity :) They took a small stock of food and tried to feel "both before the wedding." Just the indescribable feeling of the unreality of this world!
Our fairy tale lasted just a week. But it was an unforgettable seven-day holiday for the eyes, for the soul, for the body ... For almost all day, we drove on the beach. At this time of the year there is very good weather for this type of rest. You can go to the coastal café or bistro, which here in the season of tourist invasion there are just prosper. True, on the fourth day we were offered to bring food straight to the beach. We agreed because the shipping price is only 3 euros. And if you order dinner in the amount of more than 60 euros - you will bring food for free. Here each dish is seasoned with a very large amount of herbs and spices, local fried banats have the taste of Potatoes Free! Therefore, I did not risen and ordered fish with grill and juices from fresh orange.
We were also on excursions in South Goa. There is everything much cheaper and, if a little bit into local forests, you can see charming houses of local residents. Contrast, of course huge. But so unusual that the complete sense of traveling in time appears!
We will refer to winter here. There is some kind of sense of unfinished trip! I want more ...
