In Croatia traveled only 10 days. Even before the trip, they were heard about the wonderful nature of the country, and after the magical week spent there, and they fell in love with this edge of clean air, emerald water and good-natured, hospitable inhabitants.
At the time of vacation, we kindly sheltered Dubrovnik. Settled on the Lapad Peninsula, which almost completely consisted of hotels of different caliber. The rest of the city was full of luxurious villas, gardens and collapsed by the bay, in which cruise liners and yachts moored. The houses are comfortably located among orange, pomegranate trees; Palm trees and fir, larches, spruce saving greens were covered by the hot rays of the hospitable sun. After the silent capital of the Fatherland, it seemed to us that we were in the real paradise.
During the day, Dubrovnik was filled with distrend and noisy crowds of many tourists who arrived on cruising liners. By night, the duration of the city was shrunk almost in two, the lively flow of tourists melted, and we enjoyed the quiet evenings. Residents relate to Russian well, quite friendly. With the elderly, you can easily communicate - they say well in Russian, many of those who happened to chat, and studied in the USSR. A couple of times dined in a cafe, but the prices did not please us - expensive. Of course, everything was very tasty: fresh seafood, plus excellent service. But because of the modest budget of the trip, we often looked at supermarkets, it was there that prices were surprisingly low.
The sea deserves the highest praise. It is really clean, like a tear, and warm, like pair milk. The air and water temperature is approximately the same, about +28. The city beach is pebble, so the torment does not rises even with a storm, we swam the sea deep into the sea than 100 m, and the water continued to be crystal-transparent, it was clearly visible the bottom. Cleanliness is generally a characteristic feature for the city. Despite the large number of tourists, the streets are always removed, at night the road wash with shampoo.
On the advice of rest, a review tour of Dubrovnik was not taken. According to the stories, it included the rise to the mountain of Serge with the help of a module and a walk through the old town with an approach to the Dominican monastery. We independently visited all the places and even more than this, and the walk went out significantly cheaper. But the tour "Three Islands" is recommended urgently - bright and unforgettable sensations are guaranteed! On two high-speed yachts, we were taken to one of the most picturesque islands of the Adriatic Sea. Juicy greens, bottomless blue sky and azure waves - painting, decent artist's brushes. In this natural splendor, the rich villas of the lucky ones fitted harmoniously, who managed to escape from the bustle of the big world. Armed with masks and flippers, our team descended into the famous grots of the island. Sea hedgehogs, stars and chip crowds of colorful, yurik fish, carefree from the stones, made up underwater landscapes. After diving, we rapidly rushed to the next island. This time the land is uninhabited. Our happiness there are no boundaries, as if real robinsons, planted ashore and run through a soft sand. After pebbles, it is so bliss! A couple of clocks of bathing and taking sunbathing end in a stunningly delicious dinner. On the third island, the immersion in the Adriatic Pochin is on a date for maritime residents. Here the satellites staged a competition: who will dive deeply and get a star star from the bottom. Local wine drunk at the dinner (by the way, excellent), gave itself to know and hot blood thirst for the competition.
The excursions were offered a great set, and not only in the country, but also to Europe. If we had time, you had to conquer the mountain rivers. I also really want to get into the old town of Mostar. So in Montenegro, you will definitely return once again - so much amazing and beautiful in this country, which fall in love with it and dream of visiting again.
