We planned to Sorrento in advance. Many read reviews about Italian resorts. Rimini, as an option, shall immediately. Too many vacationers, and judging by the reviews, the infrastructure suffers. But Sorrento, mostly sounded like a fashionable resort, for an exquisite holiday. The hotel chose a small family, not on the first line from the sea, of course, but to the beach for about 15 minutes a little step. First of all, by sharing your impressions, I want to note that the beaches are good here, clean, but pebble. If you like sand, then Sorrento is not for you. Infrastructure is good, everything is equipped. There are sun beds and umbrellas for those who want, for just 3 euros.
Another significant attraction of this Italian resort is its unique natural landscapes. The climatic features of the terrain contribute to the growth of the most diverse species of Mediterranean vegetation. Over the resort on the branches of trees, lemons and other citrus are growing. Their smell is filled with everything around. This creates a special sense of the holiday.
Among the attractions of the city especially it is worth highlighting the Tasso Square. All major shopping centers of the city are concentrated here, as well as numerous restaurants. On the square itself, you can take a picture with the monument to the famous Italian poet Torquato Tasso, in honor of which the square and is named. Here you can visit the ancient cathedral of the carmes, inspect its decoration. Another interesting architectural structure of the city is the Basilica of San Antonio, which is located on the square with the same name. Inside the temple it is worth familiar with the exposition of the webs of not very famous Italian artists who, nevertheless, are very interesting for lovers and connoisseurs of painting.
Well, of course, be sure to visit the cape that wears the same name with the city name. From here there is a stunning panorama for the entire Sorrento, on its coastline and urban landscapes. Photos are wonderful photos. If you wish, you can visit the ruins of the ancient Roman structures that are on this Cape. The construction of the Roman Veelmazheb destroyed by the villages once dated to our era.
And last. In Sorrento, very clean air. It seems to be filled with energy, the vacation flies imperceptibly.
