Basically, everyone goes to bed only for the sake of one attraction - a salt mine with a history of more than seven centuries. Since 1997, in the mine, there is a tourist route in which trained guided tourists from tourists groups, the mine was brought to the World Heritage List of UNESCO, so that there is no passion from those who want it at any time of the year. In addition, there is a route in Shahha for lovers of extreme rest - the Shakhtarskaya Track: Having received the form and tools, passing instructing, you can go into a mine for several tens of meters a deeper tourist route and try yourself in the role of a miner.
The mine has several "cameras", huge halls, salt sculptures, and she herself like a huge museum exhibit with many interesting inside. Services, conferences, symphony concerts and even weddings are held in the halls of the mines. Also, the mine offers a wellness recreation: sleep in specially equipped rooms at a depth of 135 meters under the ground, where you can even pay the respiratory system at once.
For believers in the mine, there is a pilgrimage route, during which salt and wooden chapels installed in the mine are visited.
Mine has two modes of work depending on the time of year, it works without weekends, except for Catholic church holidays and a new year. The price of excursions depends on the language on which they are held: each member of the Polish Group pays 52 zlotys per person, each member of the group of excursions in a foreign language (this may be Russian, English, German, Italian, French) - 79 zlotys (for students, Children discount - a preferential ticket at a price of 64 zł), it is also possible to buy a family ticket for two adults and two children at a price of 222 zł. But it is worth considering that the right to photograph is paid separately at the checkout along with the purchase of an excursion and costs 10 zł.
The mine is pretty cool, summer, even in the heat the temperature does not rise above 10-15 degrees, so it is worth taking a shift with you or upper clothes.
In addition to the salt mine, there are several churches, the main of which is the parish church of Clemens, is a small pinkish color of the church, located in the city center.
A little bit from the mine and the main market square, on the mountain, the monastery of reformers can be seen - a complex of monastery buildings.
The old mine trunks themselves are also of interest to tourists - the trunk of the regis and the trunk of Danilovich, they are at about a distance of 10 minutes from the descent to the mine for tourists.
On the main market square of the city there is a rather impressive 3D drawing on the tile, which shows the deepening descent in the mine. And not far from him, closer to the city highway there is a small square with a monument to the famous Polish poet - Adam Mitskevich.
Great is a rather interesting Polish town, but all the available attractions can be quite viewed in one day, if you come here on the morning bus from Krakow, so if you do not plan to therapeutic procedures in the salt mine, then it is not worth sharing.
