Kandolim is a small village and one of the beaches of North Goa, located 15 kilometers from the capital of the state - Panji. Despite the fact that the resort is located on the sandy strip of the beaches that unites the beaches from Kandolim to Baga, he is not at all similar to his fellow - Calangut, Buga Anjun and more reminiscent resorts of South Goa. There is practically no colorful public here, but there are plenty of Europeans at the age and rich metropolitan properties. Why is it worth going to Kandolim?
In Kandolim, excellent beaches, clean, well-groomed, with sun beds that exhibit cervical owners - local beach bars. Sun beds are free if you buy a cocktail or something from food. There are almost no merchants here, compared to neighboring beaches - they come here rarely, and the owners of the cervix are not too affordable. There are practically no beach entertainment here, although they are all presented on neighboring beaches - just 10-15 minutes walk.
In the evenings here you can sit in one of the restaurants with a harsh music or go in karaoke. The food is very tasty here, as elsewhere on the coast, with the finest seafood, but the price is higher than, for example, in a nearby calangut. Or stroll to Fort Aguada, located at the very end of Kandolim, to meet the sunset in the best Goan traditions.
Shopping lovers in Kandolim will also be what to do: there are several stores with clothing from natural materials and souvenirs, and once a week, on Saturdays there is a daytime market, where they sell jewelry, textiles and ceramics.
North Goa in principle is not intended for recreation with young children. Kandolim is very specific. On the one hand, it is cleaner here more cleanly on the streets, beaches and in restaurants, hotels and maintenance in them are clearly higher. But the beach, with a steep shower in the sea and high waves, does not allow the kids to enjoy the joy of communicating with the sea.
Hotels in Kandolim provide a wider range of services than in neighboring villages, they are cleaner, with the best breakfasts and dinners. However, prices here are also an order of magnitude higher.
In Kandolim, it is worth going to those who want to combine unhurried holidays on the beaches with excursions on this colorful country, who will be more pleasant to the evening cocktail in the ocean noise bar, but who still does not want to stay away from the local Colorite: visits to night markets, Buddhist temples and restaurants with local cuisine.
