Madrid is a city where there is all - high-class restaurants and five star hotels to simple and cozy bistro. Here is a couple of advice to those who are going to Madrid, and whom the budget is limited.
Coffee shops and tea houses Madrid
Calle Espiritu Santu.
This is a street where to look at a cup of coffee. Cafe "La Lolina" (Calle Del Espíritu Santo, 9) is an inexpensive, but very cozy cafe. Naturally, not only one cafe deserves attention on this street. And look at the buckinist store on the same street. To get on this street, reach the subway station to Noviciado or Tribunal.
Cafe Commercial (Glorieta de Bilbao, 7)
Cafe with a century history. Once this restaurant was a mars of the military during the Civil War in Spain. The cafe is definitely better to come when there is more people (frankly, if the cafe is empty, there is quite boring). Most of all the people here is going for breakfast and between dinner and dinner. The aromatic coffee is worth less than 2 euros, as well as in the coffee shop you can order buns, sandwiches and pies.
Marrock Tea Shops
Lavapiez district is a big immigrant community, where they live, for the most part, people from North Africa. That is why there is a number of Moroccan teahouses in the area. Take spicy tea or order hookah. The best tea is located on Calle Ave Maria Street. Moroccan tea in Spain is even much better than in their native country. In Fez and Marrakesh, you are just likely to try tea with mint; Tea Madrid have a much more extensive menu. Plus, this cafe is fairly cheap!
"NUEVO CAFÉ BARBIERI" (Calle Del Ave María, 45)
Very pleasant, classic cafe with a wonderful atmosphere. Cafe is closed for approximately 2 days, keep in mind. Also, the choice of food in the cafe is quite small, for the most part, these are drinks and small snacks.
Restaurants and cafes
"Casa Labra Restaurant" (Calle de Tetuán, 12)
A small tapas bar, which has been more than 100 years old. Book here beer or vermouth, and then go to the counter with tapas. A corporate dish of the restaurant is a cod. Try crockets with cod or nuggets from cod. The cafe is located in thirty seconds walk from Puerta del Sol.
"Casa Da Las Torrijas" (Calle de la Paz, 4)
A little strange place. The cafe looks like a classic cafeteria of the middle of the 20th century, although there are no coffee at all. As it follows from the name, this place specializes in the mnich - fragrant bread, operated in water or in wine, with the addition of spices, roasted in fat or oil. These dishes are served here with young Malaga's young wine. There is this restaurant on one of the streets, which leads to the south of Puerta del Sol.
"Casa Granada" (Calle Del Doctor Cortezo, 17)
At the end of 2013, the restaurant was closed for repairs, but most likely a cafe is already open. This is the best little bar in Madrid. To find it, by the way, is quite difficult, even if they say the exact address. Go on the road between Teatro Häagen-Dazs Calderón and a cinema, you will see a restaurant sign on the left side. Click on the call and go on the elevator to the top floor. Voila! The nearest metro is SOL or Tirso de Molina. This is an excellent location in order to cheap and eat typical Spanish snacks. It serves excellent beer and tapas, as well as Cazuela de Pinchos (pork in acute sauce) and delicious snacks. You can eat a little on 5-8 euros.
"San Gines Chocolateria" Pasadizo San Ginés, 5)
The best breakfast place in Spain is the wonderful chocolate churros (sweet roasted baking from custard test), which are standing around 4-5 euros. Located on a small allee leading from Calle de Arenal to Calle Mayor. From Arenal Roll when you see the Church of San Hines. Here and find this cafe. The nearest metro is SOL. One portion of Churros is usually enough for two people. Also, there are very tasty caffections.
EL BRILLANTE (Plaza Emperador Carlos V, 8)
Slandwiches with squid in deep fryer is one of the main dishes of this cafe. They are here less than 5 euros. It seems to be very nondescript in front of the Atocha Railway Station and just two steps from the Reina Sofia Museum. Drinks are ordered from one bar, and the food is another.
"EL TIGRE" (Calle de Las Infantas, 30, Metro Gran Via or Chueca)
The cheapest and cheapest restaurant, where you can taste the tapas. Buy drinks, and you will get three plates with food for free in this cafe. Seeing chaos, which is happening in this restaurant, many will begin to think that this place is dirty and there is an antisanitation here. But wait a minute, it's far away. The service is very fast, which can not but rejoice.
"Viva Madrid" (Calle de Manuel Fernández Y González, 7) and "Magister" (Calle de Rodríguez San Pedro, 8 and AV Del Doctor Federico Rubio Y Galí, 1)
Three best bars in Madrid. "Magister" is a mini-brewery, where you can order a beer to which free tapas go. By the way, there are some more similar bars in Madrid, for other addresses. "Viva Madrid" - Straight bar in the capital with cheap beer and snacks. If you are not sure what kind of beer try on the masters (they produce three varieties of beer and seasonal special), you can even ask the bar to pour a little of each kind to choose your favorite later.
"Rodilla" (Calle Doctor Esquerdo, 173; Calle Del Arenal, 23; Polígono Industrial Aguacate, Calle Secoya, 19; Calle de Fernández de los Rios, 93, etc.)
This is a network of fast food restaurants, which specializes in various sandwiches and sandwiches. Restaurants are currently offering a menu at a very low price, in which, including the meatballs, siabatta pellets, Potatoes, Brauni and Orange Juice.
