In Kandolim, I arrived in winter, in early February. Chose the most optimal period of the year - from March the heat already begins. And May and June carry rains. He stopped his choice on Kandolim not by chance. First, our compatriots are very small. Secondly, if compared with other resort towns of India, there are plenty of meat, fish, chicken, and prices are tempting small. The cost and variety of fruit is also pleased.
Why go to relax on the sea - well, of course, in order to make a widget and tan. So I fully fulfilled this very main covenant of the tourist in Goa. The ocean is not a sea of you. Who at least once was, he will understand me. The power feels extraordinary, as if in the arms of the giant fell. The first few days were decent waves. But the circle, where only the eyes had enough, was sandy shore, so besides the sweet share of adrenaline and almost puppy delight from the salty water, nothing threatened me. The ocean even at the very shore is clean, the beaches are studded - sit under the sun, at least an asterisk, you will not oppress anyone. Sun beds, however, were old. In public areas, umbrellas and other beach utensils are conditional. I went to the cafe, took a glass of juice and you can take the inventory for the whole day.
I especially want to celebrate local markets. They are divided into two types: night and daytime. The last huge, for their visiting it is worth the hour of 3-4 hours. Go through all the ranks, feel flavor and exotic, so to speak. In my candolim acquisitions: excellent quality of yoga pants (total 100 rupees), gift statuettes made of bronze in the form of an elephant and warriors (about 800 rupees) and a lot more. Night markets are more civilized. And sell, and buy there, mostly Europeans. On the shelves, the goods of another plan are shown, you can see all sorts of bracelets, amulets, pebbles ... There were glad to see concerts, suitable directly on the lords among the ranks, and watched the dancing. Hindus balanced, conscious. Completely smiling, peaceful, and they will not call them obsessive - quite comfortable in terms of communication.
Honor and praise, I will receive restaurants in Kandolim. Food is very tasty: fresh seafood, juices. Everything is competed by spices - natural. Food is useful and healthy. Yes, almost for a penny. But I diligently caught the power points with obsessive climbing, preferred calm restaurants. By the way, it was mostly such, mostly chose older Europeans. And I trust them with choosing. Almost all the cafes are free, this is another bold plus.
With regards to prices - please the Russian tourist. Taxi is inexpensive, even cheaper to rent a moped. If for a long time, then a penny goes out. For a kilogram of mango - a couple of dollars. There are still many decent shops with good wine at tempting prices. Against the background of this grace, you understand why many visitors remain here and two, and three, and more months, (lucky, they do not need to hurry to work).
Someone complains that it is dirty in the city. But if you can abstract from such details, and appreciate many advantages, then happiness will cover you, as me - unconditionally and completely.
