Zelden is a picturesque ski resort that spreads along a small river at the foot of the Alpine Mountainside. By the way, it will be known that this resort is known as "Big Troika", and all thanks to three peaks of vertices with a height of more than 3000 meters. It is these peaks with their magnificent glaciers most popular among the "advanced" skiers and snowboarders.
The ski resort is protected from all sides by mountain arrays, which creates a unique microclimate at this resort. And yet, for the most part, the ski resort is focused on "professionals" of a mid-level or completely newcomers of skiing.
The best and most economical way to get to the Selden ski resort is the city of Insburg. Insburg International Airport adopts direct flights of airlines of all countries of the world, even from the countries of the former USSR. At the very least, from Russia there is a direct flight for Insburg, but tickets are unreasonably roads, flights (mainly) are carried out by charter flights. More economical options - only with docks in other cities. There are no direct flights from Ukraine - only with a transplant. From the countries of the former USSR, air flights to Munich are perfectly organized, but the subsequent road to the ski resort is a bit longer in time and costly for money. Therefore, the best way to get to Zalden remains, after all, Insburg. But, and here there are two ways, one of which (railway transport) is still slightly economted, but more troublesome. The easiest way (this is if not to take into account the transfer presented by hotels or hotel complexes of the resort) is bus routes. Insburg International Airport has direct bus routes directly to the ski resort. The price of a ticket will be 42 euros per person. More economical is railway transport, but for this it is necessary to drive from the airport to the city center, to the train station (better - by public transport. Price of bus ticket is 2.5 euros). Next, by train, to the etcal station. To save money, I recommend buying a ticket "Einfach Raus Ticket". The cost of this ticket is 28 euros for the entire group of tourists, regardless of quantity. So that this option is most beneficial when following the family or a large company. Already from the etcal station - again, only the bus. The price of the ticket is 8 euros. The transplants are of course stuck, but for money, tangible savings.
If you take into account convenience and practicality when choosing a place of residence, I recommend paying attention to hotels located near the Giggijochbahn lift.
The cost is quite comfortable, the standard room will cost 33 euros per person per day.
Near this lifting is a good place of residence. For example: Mini Hotel "Alpenrose" offers two-bedroom apartments for tourists at a price of 25-27 euros per person. The Haus Fridolin Hotel provides similar accommodation places, but already four people at a price of 720 euros per week. For those who comfort and the abundance of additional services above all, it is worth paying attention to the hotel "Regina" - the best hotel at the ski resort, with its own water park and mass of other comfort conditions. But the price is respectively high.
For those who are more important than an active lifestyle than it is not dangerous in the unnecessary comfort of "elite" hotel complexes, I recommend the board in the Kaisers area, almost immediately at the entrance to Zelden, directly at the sign with the inscription "Zelden", a little away from the main road. The price of the number of rooms is the same at any time and does not depend on the peaks of the workload and attendance of the resort. And most importantly, the prices are the same for the entire number of rooms, whether it is a one-room number or two-room - the price is the same.
There is such a "happiness" of 144 euros for a week in comparison with hotels directly from the lifts a tangible savings). The only "disadvantage" (if this can be considered a disadvantage) is the remoteness of the guesthouse from the center. Stall will have 20 minutes. But it is rather plus than minus. Hiking to the center, in any of the restaurants or bars only give cheerfulness and increase appetite. But in the morning it is not necessary to "stump" on foot with all equipment. Near the guesthouse there is a bus stop (Skibass), so there are absolutely no problems. The only thing you need to know is that the last bus (Skibass) finishes work on the route at 18:00. After this time - only on foot.
The ski resort besides its tracks of various complexity is also known as a very bad entertainment place of rest. Tourists are offered only on the slopes of beautiful trails about 20 diverse barchiks,
Restaurants and all sorts of Harcheven, the kitchen in which is predominantly national, Tyrolean. And in the town of Tourist itself, there are about 80 similar institutions, plus a variety of fast food institutions, such as all sorts of pizzerias and shops with hot dogs are added.
Still eat, I would recommend on the mountain slopes, between skiing. Kitchens in institutions are practically the same type, portions although not too much huge but tasty and satisfy. In addition, the price policy of bars on the vertices, the slopes of the mountain arrays are much lower than in the town itself.
If you can still dine at the top for 15-20 euros all your family, then a similar menu, already in the city center, in any restaurant will cost you at least twice as much, and this is not counting alcoholic beverages.
Return to equipment. The resort has a lot of ski equipment rental points. A set of ski equipment for an adult will cost about 24 euros per day. If you take only skis or only snowboard - 17 euros. It is more profitable to take everything at once and for a long time (on the number of days of your stay). As they say - wholesale is always cheaper. Teenagers, under 15 years old are considered to children. A significant discount is distributed to such a category of tourists. The daily set of equipment (for the child) will cost 12 euros.
Ski-passages for all types of lifts in the price equivalent also differ from each other. Their difference in the price equivalent depends on the riding season and the time of use.
In the main (peak season) ski passes will cost 41.5 euros per day, naturally the child is cheaper, and will cost 26 euros. The weekly ski passes will cost about 200 euros.
In general, an excellent ski resort, a pleasant pastime of the whole family.
