Slavic - alternative to expensive ski resorts

It was the first experience of skiing in the ski resort. The village was chosen as a venue for a few reasons. First of all, it was attracted by its availability, since due to low popularity, the prices for accommodation in Slavsky is approximately one and a half times lower than on Bukovels. Of course, the infrastructure here is simpler, but for us it was not a fundamentally important factor, since for the first time, the possibilities opening here were enough.

Secondly, it's very easy to get here. We booked a railway ticket to Kiev-Uzhgorod and after 12 hours were at the resort. Such a travel option pleases primarily because the roads in the village are in an extremely unsatisfactory state, and if you go, for example, from Lviv on a bus or car, then you need to be patient, since the trip will take a long time. Thirdly, a huge number of accommodation options capable of meeting the needs of even the most demanding vacationers, it was not possible, because for my parents comfort and comfort - the priority characteristics of the place of residence on vacation.

Giving preference to private accommodation, we paid two rooms in a very decent cottage.

On the mountain climbed only on the second day, because by arrival half of the day spent on accommodation. In the village, almost every step offers rental of ski equipment, so there was no problem with his search at all. Initially, we all took the rental only to ski, but by the middle of the rest I wanted a diversity, and I changed them on a snowboard. The impressions of the rest were awesome. Maybe because the ski resort was then for the first time. Although, it should be noted that Slavic is quite deserving the estimates of "4+" and is not inferior to the promoted recreation bases.

Here is very beautiful nature and picturesque places. The steepness of the mountain slopes is amazing. Lifting up on the lift up, you can warm up mulled wine, eat something delicious or sit in the company in a local cafe.

I highly recommend this resort to those who want to learn how to ski or beard, as well as those who are looking for a good service for reasonable money.
