Belgorod-Dnestrovsky is a small town on the shore of Dniester Limana, 86 km from Odessa.
Since 1918, the city was under Romanian government, in 1940 he entered the USSR. Until July 1941, the city was as part of the Issrian region of the Ukrainian SSR. In July 1941, he was captured by Romania.
In 1944, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky was released from the Romanian troops and returned to the Issrian region of the Ukrainian SSR. In 1954, the city entered the Odessa region.
