One of the favorite views of the pastime of tourists in Phuket after a beach and excursion recreation is shopping. Few people will stand from the temptation to stroll through Thai shopping centers. Even those travelers who do not plan to make purchases here, no, no yes and will look at the local markets or in a small shop and get a couple of baubles in memory of the hospitable resort.
There are many shopping and entertainment centers on the island, which are focused mainly on Patong Beach and Phuket Town. So to meet this paradise for shopaholics will have to donate a few days of rest.
At the entrance to Phuket Town there is a large five-level shopping center Central Festival, where you can find a variety of boutiques offering clothes, footwear, cosmetics and perfumes of European brands. There is also a grocery supermarket, toy shops and children's clothing, home and office products, household appliances and electronics. Another major shopping center, located in Phuket Town, is Tesco Lotus. In fact, Lotus network stores can be found in other parts of the island, but there are essential products there. A huge hypermarket is also located in Phuket Town, where everything can be purchased: starting with products and ending with goods to repair at home. Tourists who prefer to travel lightly, I advise you to immediately visit this shopping center in order to purchase everything you need here. For example, there are toothbrushes, pastes, shampoos and other similar products not only to Thai, but also European firms. So it will be easy to navigate and find what you need. Also in Tesco Lotus, it is simply a huge selection of children's goods at fairly low prices. These are both care products, and distinguishing dishes, and clothes. It is worth saying about the latter: the clothes in the hypermarket are presented not only for children, but also men and women. Children's thai manufacturing things made of high-quality cotton material with bright drawings and applications, and besides several times cheaper than in Russia is a find for parents. Unfortunately, almost all the clothing is designed for warm summer weather. But after all, in Russia there is summer, and in the kindergartens everywhere, children go in the light shorts, thaws and dresses. As for adult things - in my opinion, they are too simple and baggy, but they do not argue about tastes. In any case, the usual shirt on vacation will not hurt. Also in the shopping center there are separate boutiques with clothing and shoes, a variety of cafes and restaurants, where you can relax from shopping and snack, and a play area for children in which it seemed to me very noisy.
Not far from Tesco Lotus is located another Big C shopping center, which also accommodates hypermarket, small shops and a variety of power points.

It is located on Patong, and is a small town consisting of shops, souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and entertainment zones. There is also a bowling, cinema, and a nightclub. And every evening with seven to nine hours near the fountain, you can see a laser show with musical accompaniment. The entire center has original design.
The same one who does not attract shopping in huge shopping centers will also taste campaigns along the benchmarks and markets that are very much here. Some markets work only in the evening for certain days, others are open constantly. In the markets you can buy clothes, shoes, seafood and fruits at fairly low prices. Also here you can purchase various souvenirs and trinkets.
The most popular among tourists is the weekend market, located in Phuket Tauna near the temple of Nak, where you can find both products and things, and souvenirs. It works on Saturdays and Sundays from four in the evening to ten in the evening.
Also tourists are often visited by the Weekend Market Market, which works on weekends from morning to evening.
The Chatuchac Market market is a reduced model of the same name in Bangkok. It is also open on weekends, but some stores continue to work on weekdays.
And of course, Patong turns into a large shopping street at night.
