These sharks from December to March come to the shed date. From July to October, graceful rut-manta sailed here. And all year round these places are simply sissed by sharks of various species. Of course, this extreme is a dive with sharks, not everyone wants to experience, but for lovers to rinse their nerves - this is a great occupation. For the rest, a boat ride with a glass bottom is offered. And of course, here you can swim with cute, friendly dolphins.
In connection with the specifics of the underwater world, there is a large number of dive centers on the island, which has all the necessary equipment for both deep-water dives for professionals and for learning newcomers.
It's amazing how I managed to maintain this non-empty of maritime people, because the number of local people is quite large - about 2,000 people plus there are still tourists whose number is practically not changed - here you can relax all year round. There are several settlements on Rangiroa, the largest of them - Avator and Typut. The island has a sufficiently large number of hotels, bars and restaurants. Here, in contrast to the many small islands of Polynesia, there is where to go in the evening and skip the cup-other. But all the establishments are closed very early - because in the morning you already need to be in the ocean.
The huge plus rangiroa is the ability to choose recreation options. For those who are indifferent to the underwater world or simply wants to change the kind of activity here there are shops, restaurants, there is where to walk (the size of the atoll allows) and what to see, there are magnificent beaches and spa centers. Well, for a diver, it's just a paradise. The ocean offers such a variety of pictures and paints, which is difficult to convey words.
