It's no secret that Thailand is a country in which I surely want to return again. So we and my spouse were delighted with this place.
In the first evening, our rest, having studied the map of Pattia, the spouse made a route at interesting places of the city. The first list was visiting the "Big Buddha Hill". Here is a fifteen meter statue of the Buddha, to which there is a staircase of 120 steps.
Nearby - the temple where you can make a desire and it will surely come true. From the observation deck in front of the gaze, a magic view of the city and the Siamese bay opens. From the center of Pattia to the Big Buddha can be reached either by taxi (100-150 baht), or on the local Tuk-Tuka (10 baht), well, or as we are on foot.
Next - the night market. Work time from 17 to 23. Here you can find a lot of interesting things at a very competitive price, ranging from various souvenirs, ointments, cosmetics and ending with things, allegedly, "famous brands". From the center you can take Tuk Tuku. The market is located on the left in the course of the movement. Do not donate, still from afar, the music is audible and the crowds of tourists are visible.
From the excursions Most of all I remember: a trip to the River Kwai and a trip to the island of monkeys. On a two-day journey to Kwai (the cost of about 2100 baht per person) includes visits to temples, waterfalls, floating market, elephant villages, thermal sources and itself alloy itself on the River Kwai in the vests.
