We visited Amsterdam to one of the most famous Dutch holidays - on the Queen's Day. He takes on April 30 and is celebrated with a scope. On this day, the crowds of people walking in Amsterdam dress up on the clothes of orange flowers and walk around the city, drink beer, ride boats through the canals. The city has a lot of fun events.
We stayed at the hotel near the airport, because the prices of this day at hotels in the city were just cosmic. In the morning, when we arrived in Amsterdam, there were not many people on the streets, and we rolled through the canals on a pleasure boat. It is very good that we did it on time, because then the channels were completely clogged with boats, dams, with some incomprehensible plaels.
Walking around the city in the crowd of people dressed in orange, drinking beer and eating herring made a powerful impression on us. I usually do not like noisy crowded events, but in Amsterdam I did not feel discomfort. What I liked, this is universal positive and smile, probably achieved not without the help of alcohol and something else.
But in the evening, the streets were lying on the mountains of candy, beer cans, disposable dishes and other garbage.
In addition to large-scale entertainment, this day, something like a global flea market occurs when all the inhabitants pull the most incredible things for sale on the streets of the city. It was very funny to walk along the canals, looking at this inconceivable trash.
In general, Amsterdam was not remembered by the architecture, museums and quarter of the Red Lights, and the Orange Human Thick, who filled in this day the whole city.
