With the word Maldives, our imagination immediately draws a white sandy beach, hanging her palm tree over blue water and bright sun. And indeed it is. Going to the Maldives, I hardly imagined yourself than you can go on a 400-meter island, from where it also needs to fly an hour on a hydroslip.
But the rest liked the whole family. We were on Medupar Island, which is located on Raa Atoll. This is a four star hotel, accommodation is offered in spacious bungalows, we were very comfortable.
What did we do on the island? Rested and enjoyed nature. It's very cool when 10 meters away from your room, you dress the flippers and a mask and, slightly sailing from the shore, look fantastic fish and corals. Our six-year-old son was in full delighted, he walked along the island almost all day. In the evening there was a couple of next entertainment - we went on the shore with a flashlight and searched for crabs that were smartly blocked.
In the break between these classes, the child alone was lying around the island in search of cocos, which brought to the bungalow, where we opened them specially captured with them a screwdriver.
From animals on the island there were numerous lizards of various species and birds.
After dinner, it was time for a new uncomplicated entertainment - feeding fish. All the inhabitants of the island came to the Pier, from where exactly at 9 pm employee of the hotel dropped food. By this time there were not only people, but also fish. Huge turtles and slides, which sometimes fought because of some kind of laddied piece were saved to the pier.
After a week of staying on the island, we saw finally volatile foxes. This led to the delight of not only me and son, but even her husband. We began to walk and listen to find the trees on which these funny little animals hung.
In general, days were filled with pleasant trifles.
The rest really liked, especially the son, who experienced a sense of complete unity with nature and rested from civilization. In my opinion, everyone needs to leave for such places to simply relax, throw away all thoughts from the head and learn to find pleasure in small pleasant events taking place on the island lost in the ocean.
