Embankment Viareggio
This is the main street, the favorite place of locals and visitors, a kind of attraction. Museum -vlla Polina Bonaparte (Museo Civici Villa Paolina Bonaparte)
Villa Polina (or Polyna Palace) once belonged to Polina Bonaparte, Sister Napoleon.
The villa was built in 1822 by the sea in front of the place (which is now called Shelly's Square), next to which, according to legend, as a result of the shipwreck, the sea took the body of the English poet of the 19th century Persi Beach Shelly. Polina loved his poems very much and, as they say, that is why it chose this place for the construction of the villa (well, because the place is really beautiful, and close to the sea).
The appearance of the villa is made in a French neoclassical style. The building has a square shape, on the first floor of three sides there are balconies that come out in the garden. The building is divided into three parts: a hall with surrounding rooms for polyna and its guests, a servant room, as well as a kitchen with a storage room. The facade overlooking the sea consists of a terrace supported by colonnade in the style of neoclassicism. The entrance to the villa is also decorated with two doric columns. The garden at the villa is no less interesting - different exotic plants grow here, as well as even a vineyard, as well as there was a stable, a carriage barn and a house for a koucher and a gardener.
