Hotel is at times more expensive than the previous one, but this is not a guest house. This apartment has a multi-storey new home in the center of Japhne. Unlike the previous version, the situation here is more modern, the furniture is newer, the conditions are greater. The rooms are large enough and clean, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi in the rooms is fast.
True, the beds are harsh and special design numbers are not traced - everything is very concise. For some reason, some tourists confuse the fact that local residents live in the rest of the houses (and what amazing?). The apartments have a kitchen with a fridge and a stove. The option is not bad, although "without soul", unlike Kais Guest House.
The Valampuri 4 *
Another newcomer at Jafna's hotel scene. Room Design - Worthy: Excellent Plumbing with Application for Fashion Solutions, Cool A la Wooden Walls (not everywhere, however), Microwave and tea set, Desk, Flat-screen TV. The hotel has 32 rooms - they are slightly different from each other (there are those that are simpler).
In addition, the hotel is located in the heart of the city, 30 meters from the japhne railway station (by the way, also open only about a year ago). The hotel has a restaurant, however, food is not on top. There are other minuses: problems with a reception, for example. And not a very well separated restaurant. So far dine in other restaurants. In short, there is a claim, but they all seem to me can be explained by the novelty hotel and the lack of a well-worked hotel sphere in the city.
U.S HOTEL.
A simple hotel with 20 rooms is located on Hospital Street, not far from the Church of St. John, on a quiet calm street. An extended three-story building - on the first restaurant, on the second and third - rooms. Simple rooms with tiled floors, dark wood furniture and blond walls. The rooms are huge, and if you take a bed for two, it will be a "King Size" (and another flat-screen TV). Friendly leadership and employees, ready to please their guests, always with a smile face.
There is also no special complaints to the restaurant - of course, this is not a luxury restaurant, but something more like a fast food cafe with simple furniture and a menu, which consists mainly with honeycomb dishes. Plus slow service, but this is the usual case for Sri Lanka. By the way, some tourists annoying the fact that the restaurant is not only the guests of the U.S Hotel, but in general everything. But what to do!
It could also be noted that, though, the price for such conditions is high (one could do two times less). The hotel is new, and also needs refinement - but this is a common problem for the "young" japhne. And so - quite an adequate option.
