The lappenters of the summer season appear in Balchik since the beginning of June. Despite the fact that at sea by this time you can already swim, because the water temperature reaches +20 degrees, and sometimes more, the air is still cool enough. Only at lunch for several hours there is a suitable temperature for a beach holiday, and then when there are no rains that are not uncommon at this time of year. But those who come here in June can safely save at the cost of a ticket or accommodation, as the demand is not yet large and you can count on a good discount. Many holidaymakers at the beginning of the retirement age season, which arrive at the allocated budget traffic cans or who are hard to carry high temperatures. There are also tourists who are contraindicated with sun rays on the state of health, and the cloudy weather is perfect.
The most peak of the season in Balchik falls on the second half of July and August. It is well noticeable by the number of vacationers on the beach. Yes, and in hotels that you need to notice a lot in this resort, quite lively. Sometimes without early booking it is very difficult to find a good option for recreation. Those that are located closer to the sea are practically filled. And prices are high enough. Therefore, planning your vacation, you should not lose sight of this fact. During this period, fussy and noisy not only in hotels, but also on the beaches. Such a situation creates a large number of children who come along with parents to rest. For a family holiday, this is the time when the most warm sea and maximum air temperatures, most suitable. Children spend a lot of time in the sea and pools, as water warms up to + 25 + 27 degrees.
With the onset of September, the number of tourists is gradually declining. Less vacationers with school age children, although it rather refers to our compatriots, because in Bulgarian schools, classes begin with the fifteenth of September. Many hotels by this time are already closed, but prices for travel and accommodation in those hotels that still continue to work are reduced. Again, you can save, and the weather is still quite suitable. In general, September on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria is quite dry and stable month. For relaxation with young children, the first half of September, in my opinion, will be the best. First, calmer in hotels and on the beach, secondly, a fairly large selection of hotels and guest houses, and on the first coastline, which is important in the presence of small children.
By the end of September, the resort calms down, although in small pensions you can still meet the latest tourists, fans of peace of mind. Maybe even luck with the weather in the first half of October, if the rains do not go, after which the temperature can dramatically drop both air and the sea. October is often pretty warm, but it is rather a lottery ticket that should not be very expensive and hoped. Therefore, it is better to choose in the interval from mid-June to mid-September.
