What should I see in Zakopane? The most interesting places.

Anonim

Count on the fact that in Zakopane, the abundance of attractions, of course not accounted for.

However, tourists have something to draw their attention when visiting this small, but colorful town.

If you are traveling on your own car (or took it to rent), then the first thing I would recommend to see is Village Khokholow . This small village with a population is just over 1,100 inhabitants, it is located just $ 16 kilometers from Zakopane, next to the Slovak border.

The village of Khokholow is unique in his own way. It is almost completely built of original wooden houses. Most of them were built back in the XIX century. In fact, the whole village consists of one main street, only in places slightly expanding. In the historic center, wooden houses, as it were, mirror reflect each other on both sides of the road.

In the season, the village of Khokholow visits many tourists from various countries. Tourists can acquire unique pottery produced in the same place. One of the houses built from one big pine is popular (it is also called "one tree house"). It is a pity that I learned about this later and therefore did not see this house.

In general, the stone gothic church stands out, strangely not similar to the rest of the village buildings.

Although the village fame acquired after the uprising in 1846 against the domination of Austria-Hungary, which was headed by the local teacher John Andrusikevich. Now wishes can visit the Museum of the Khokholwów uprising, which is open from 10:00 to 14:00 (Wednesday - Resurrection). Although, frankly, the museum is of interest except that very interested in the Polish history of the struggle for independence.

Along the same way, but much closer to Zakopane (in total in 4 kilometers) you can see and visit the significant for Poles Temple of the Fatimo Mother of God . It is located in a small village of Koszelisco. Along the road near the temple, white-yellow (symbolizing papacy) and white-blue (I do not know what) flags.

The temple was erected in 1992 for gratitude for the fact that Pope John Paul II was saved while attempting for him on May 13, 1981. John Paul myself believed that it was the fibery Mother of God that saved his life. This is one of the most famous temples in this area and Pope John Paul II has been visited repeatedly.

There is an interesting story. The church is called faith in honor of the phenomenon of the Mother of God, which occurred in 1917 in the small town of Fatima in Portugal. Then she appeared three shepherd children and told three secrets of future events. I did not recognize on the Internet, what kind of secrets we are talking about, but it is relifically known that two of them are already known and came true.

It remains to add that the church has a magnificent interior decoration, beautiful stained glass windows with images from the life of John Paul II, a stunning altar. And to get to the service is something that the priest begins to read prayer, and the people pick up and everyone in one voice pray out loud.

There are many religious sculptures around the church. Also, from the territory of the church of the Fatimian Mother of God, a stunning view of the mountain Gevont and Tatra opens.

In the mercury deserves attention Pedestrian walking street . By and large, very similar to such pedestrian streets in other cities (and not only Poland). Very colorful. Street passes through the center of Zakopane and stretches along the entire city to the foot of the Giplave Mountain. It is always crowded here. There are many shops, taverns (called Korchma) and restaurants. You will entertain clowns, mimes, musicians. And on one of the markets located along the street, you must buy anything. At least some Polish souvenir, selected skin or traditional local sheep cheese. There are several exchange offices here (Kantor). In general, it is believed to be in Zakopane and not stroll a brunt, to feel the beating of her pulse is simply inconceivable.

This is a lyrics. Everyone is so beautifully told about the groove that it is just breathtaking. But, frankly, about this street is actually painfully more bright than it really is. In reality, local simply needs your money and the impression is created that the excitement around the brew is organized artificially: the next place where numerous tourists have to spend their money. After all, in essence, there is no serious attractions in Zakopane. So invent something to lure tourists ...

But climb on Mount Gubales (The height of 300 meters above the city) is worth it. You can "drive up" to the vertex on the cable car or on the so-called mountain tram. As a matter of fact, the streets of the grocery rests directly at the foot of the mountains of the Giplave. From above, from the observation deck, there is a stunning view of Zakopane and Tatras.

There is an opportunity to take a little walk along the paths, look at luxury views with optical devices configured on mountain landscapes. In the same place, on the Gippers, there are several power plants and trading trays. But at the top slightly cooler than below.

From the attractions of Zakopane, several more museums and theater them can be noted. Stanislav Vitkevich.

Honestly, I'm not sure that someone may be interested in these objects. It seems to me that few of the tourists before visiting Zakopane at least something heard about these people. But the tastes do not argue. Therefore, I will split at all.

Theater named after Vitkevich , named after the famous Polish writer, is located on the street of Chrampsuke. Theater is the first professional in the city, has its own repertoire and a real scene. The repertoire of the theater proclaims the cult of "pure form" (I believe that you also do not know what it means), it is based on the avant-garde direction in creativity.

Museum of Karol Shimanovsky At the villa "Atma". In this villa, Shimanovsky spent six years of his life, after he was diagnosed with tuberculosis. The museum stores things and objects associated with the life and creativity of the famous Polish composer. In the premises of the museum on photographs, the interior of the composer house was restored with his life.

Maybe more interesting will visit Museum of Museum Tatra . In the exposition of the Museum, exhibits associated with the life, culture and traditions of the local population. Everything is connected with the hopper story. Separately presents exhibits, acquainting local nature. In general, also an amateur.

There is another museum of Jan Casprovich, the Museum of Cornelia Makushinsky, as well as Alpinarium (Mountain Botanical Garden). If you have too much time and there is nothing to take yourself, then you can visit.

The only thing that is convenient is the prices of entrance tickets to museums are about the same and make up approximately 3 zł (just less than a dollar).
