Narbon, like any French city, may be and almost certainly will be a very pleasant place for shopping. Despite the fact that it is considered to be a resort town, prices for food and clothing here are very acceptable. The only thing that will have to overpay are a bit - it is all kinds of souvenir products, and even then the price of magnets and other pleasant little things are comparable to other cities of the country.
Here you can buy good corporate clothes, shoes, cosmetics and perfume. It is traditionally for all France. In addition, Narbon is considered the ancient capital of winemaking. Therefore, walking around the city, you can go into one of the branded wine stores in search of good wine, in addition, the quality wine of local stamps can be found in supermarkets. The wine will perfectly complement the cheese produced not only in the region, but also brought from various parts of the country. Particularly can be recommended to try Camembert, Shevro Cheese, as well as any cheese sold on company trays of private farmers. Each of them is preparing for a special recipe and has a special, unique taste. In addition, it is worth paying attention to the dried sausages sold in the market, which prepare not only from different meat, but also with the addition of nuts, mushrooms, and so on.
Do not neglect local pharmacies. In addition to drugs, good cosmetics are sold in them, including natural masks, soap and oils. So, a very good and inexpensive pharmacy (Pharmacie De La Poste) is in the city center, on the opposite side of the channel from the market, opposite the mail.

Therefore, if you want something interesting, you need to go, for example, in Carrefour. This store has long been my favorite. Prices there, of course, a little higher, but the choice ... It can also find good wine, and delicious cheese, and national delicacies (for example, fua-gra-grafts), seafood and even finished products. But if you want unusual exotic fruits, then be sure to look at the "Grand Frais", where some names meet for the first time. You can also buy all sorts of nuts, bioproducts or olive oil.
An equally successful solution in the search for products will be a hike on the indoor market (Les Halles), which is located right from the canal in the city center. Fresh vegetables and fruits are laid on the shelves, delicious cheeses (many of which will not find in the store), meat and seafood. Perhaps anywhere else you can find so fresh seafood (including, and just caught oysters and mussels, which can be both raw), such beautiful dorada or tuna and a lot more. Here it is easy to spend half a day, about coming better yet early. Already for dinner, fresh goods will be sold out, and the market will begin to close.
Along the market, the merchants exhibit their tents, the ranks of which stretch along the canal, forming a whole seasonal market. You can buy cheap cosmetics, things, bags or shoes, as well as souvenirs. And if souvenirs and accessories can be found really standing, then with things it is better not to risk. The price of them is quite high, designed for tourists, and the quality leaves much to be desired. On the right of the central entrance to the market, on the street Emil Zol, there is a small Arabian shop, where you can buy traditional spices, coffee, as well as fresh meat (which we especially pleased - lamb and even purified stomachs), as well as many semi-finished products.
Walking around the city, you can go to any of the shops you like. Most of them will meet you with a good assortment and pleasant prices. There are also especially interesting days for shopping in Narbon. This, of course, the sale season at the end of July and the end of January, when discounts can reach 70%. The sale season takes place in several stages. On the first of them, discounts are small, 10 -20%, but at this time there is an opportunity to buy the most interesting things. At the next stage, when a large number of things are sold, discounts are already achieved by 40-50%. And the last stage offers discounts up to 70%, however, by this time something worth finding quite problematic.
