Stuttgart Zoo Wilhelm (Stuttgart Zoo)
A very old zoo, who first was the private ownership of the royal family of Wilhelm I in the 18th century, and only much later turned into a zoological object. The park was constantly reworked, expanded, and now more than two million guests visit this wonderful pricing number of different types of animals from all continents, the seas and the oceans live in this zoo. In the large area of the park you can see about 9,000 animals of thousands of different species, rare not only in Germany, but in the whole world. There are also about 7,000 species of plants in the historic park and in the greenhouses of Wilhelm. Children here will be very interesting, because here you can touch the most unusual animals, say hello to monkeys, see how crocodiles live and hear an exotic bird twitter.
All animals live in special pavilions with certain conditions. There are aquariums with fish and marine animals. The zoo constantly hosts various interesting events, festivals, holidays, shows. You can dine on the territory of the zoo in the cafes, or buy something in the stalls. Sunny lawns, shady groves and playgrounds - this kind of zoo is the perfect place for family holidays.

It is true, not in Stuttgart itself, but in the neighboring town of Chlebron, which is 40 kilometers from the city center.
The real paradise for the kids! Tripsdrill represents more than 100 themed attractions, which depict the life of Schwabia in 1880 (Shvabiya - the historical region in the south-west of Germany in the upper reaches of the Rhine and the Danube). Indeed, a wonderful unique atmosphere. A century-old story comes to life in front! There are terrible carousels, and not terrible for the smallest, and ships, leisurely embarking on the lake, here you can walk along the village, dine in the restaurant where dishes are preparing on the old German recipes. There is a wildlife park here and wild animals (for the fence, of course).
The territory is just great, I will not even list than it can still be done, but, definitely, the place is worth a visit. Here are also actively celebrated important events, festivals are held.

Stuttgart State Gallery (National Gallery Stuttgart)

A trip to Sonnenhof gives children an idea of life on a farm. Here, children and parents have the opportunity under the leadership of farm workers learn to take care of animals. Here you can see how chickens hatch, stroke small rabbits, feed the goats. Each Wednesday from 14:00 beekeepers spend an interesting lecture-excursion on the topic of bees and show how the hives and honeycomb are arranged. Also, here you can ride on donkey or pony, and even the tractor! Here you can also stay spending the night in tents as part of an exciting weekend in the Indian village (but in general, you can sleep in general rooms with bunk beds).
