In Amsterdam, we came to 2 days after a holiday in Paris in early May. Previously, there were never here, so they took the bus tickets in advance, and decided to fly home exactly from here.
In general, the impressions of the city are positive. In the best traditions of Europe - cozy streets, beautiful miniature houses, purely (but not early in the morning), and friendly people. A little surprised at cafes, reading feedback before the trip was hoping to spend less.
We stayed a separate room in a hostel near the center. Since all attractions in walking distance, but the transport has not been spent at all. We did not have a specific plan for museums and other entertainment, all two days just walked and enjoyed the city.
The weather in these two days was as in Moscow in early May. Regarding heat and sunny, but we almost did not remove light jackets.
Amsterdam is very cozy. Small channels surround the entire city center, walking at such places is very nice. The main square, though not big, but to visit is obligatory. Moreover, we realized that passing by her would not succeed, our random routes often ended there.
