Cultural and historical center of Saxony - Dresden.

A couple of years ago, I was lucky to visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Dresden, and literally before the new year I gladly visited this beautiful city. My journey began with walking in the historic part of the city. By the way, this part of the city, also called Altstadt (old town), is located very compact, which will especially please the fans of hiking tourism.

It should be noted that the city of Dresden suffered very much during World War II, but thanks to the diligence and persistence of the Germans now completely restored. The first thing I turned my attention is the purest (I would even say that sterile) streets. It seems, if walking down the street in white socks, they will remain as white-white.

What is it worth seeing, first of all, being in Dresden? Of course, the first place to go - Zwinger. Zwinger is a palace complex, a masterpiece of baroque architecture. Here is the gallery of old masters (or the Dresden Art Gallery), the Armory and the Museum of the Porcelain. By the way, if you buy a ticket, for example, in the gallery of old masters, then with the same ticket you can go to the rest of the museums. Near Zwinger is the Opera Razper. I do not know how inside, but the Opera building looks simply amazing! In general, the city of Dresden is a paradise for lovers of architecture and art! Take at least Church of Frauenkirche. This architecture masterpiece suffered very much during the war, but the pebbles behind the peasant was restored and now pleases the eye of millions of tourists. Also most of all I was impressed by the palace-residence of former Kurfürs and Mosaic "Procession of Princes", which depicts all the rulers of Saxony.

Fans of shopping I advise you to visit the Altmarkt gallery, which is located in the center of the historic part of the city. A huge selection of goods, a variety of brands and an acceptable price - the main advantages of this shopping center.

Another unforgettable memory with the city of Dresden was acquainted with the very colorful seller of Dresden sausages (by the way, very tasty). This seller was dressed as with a picture of a German fairy tale: in pants with suspenders, a green hat and was with a huge white beard and in round glasses. Such an acquaintance was the highlight of my trip. I wish you to visit wonderful Dresden!
