I heard a lot of flattering reviews about Bulgaria. I wanted to go to see the country, I thought first to go to Sophia, but it was decided to combine useful with pleasant - go to the sea resort. And everything else can be viewed through organized excursions. There were no complaints to the tour operator - everything was at the level, even in Bulgaria, a woman was attached to us, which solved all misunderstandings. I liked everything here in terms of organization and patronage. It's nice that all the promised advantages were reality - both the sea is 30 meters away, and a beautiful view from the window, and 2 working elevators (we lived on the 11th floor).
Nutrition, however, it was not a very buffet for breakfast, all two weeks one and the same set of products.
Restaurants are very expensive, the kitchen is almost the same everywhere, choose nothing! The resort was visited by the thought that it was necessary to take a tour with the option "All Inclusive", and then saved the price, and they were broken on the food. However, if anyone in Bulgaria, I recommend trying a shop salad.
Very disappointed the beach - dirty, dirty cigarette cigarettes, and after the storm dried algae, so nobody didn't bother to remove - so they lay on the water, rotted and fragrant ... I realized that the beach was never cleaned at all And I chose a resting place because of the name! Golden sands - so beautiful and romantic! It's lucky that the hotel provided us with free sun beds, and it would also have to pay for rent ...
There was practically no entertainment and something for sports - a standard set of any domestic beach: a hill, banana, catamaran, and so on. We visited the local water park - well, the usual, standard water park, about a dozen hill. I liked "Kamikaze". We went several times in Varna - to the recreation park, in the pool with mineral water. There we liked it - very warm, almost hot water created a feeling of a sauna. The city himself was not impressed ... a lot of greenery, but all this against the background of old shaded houses.
We went on excursions, but the organization was not very impressed. Especially strained that during the excursion brought to the restaurant to dine, but at the same time they were searched at the exit ... you feel very uncomfortable when your child is taken at the exit you take away the battle of the cola ... it turns out that they have nothing to carry out anything from the restaurant ...
The most oppressed attitude of the Bulgarian: the staff treated with a light disregard, but without leaving the framework of the permissible, but the inhabitants on the interruption were in a hurry to tell Russian tourists, as they are proud of the fact that during the war of 41-45. Bulgaria was an ally of fascist Germany. For me personally, this was not a pleasant surprise.
