Tirana - the capital of the Republic of Albania, as a rule, is visited by Russian tourists who come to an excursion from neighboring Montenegro.

One of the famous buildings of the city is the Mausoleum Enver Khoja - the former leader of Albania. This building in the shape of the pyramid was built in 1988. Currently, a bar is located in the building.

Martyrs cemetery
If you move away from the center of Tirana, you can see several more interesting attractions, such as the cemetery of martyrs. The cemetery is located on the top of the hill, overlooking the entire city. There is also a 12-meter statue of the "Mother of Albania".
Despite the small number of attractions, Tirana is a certain interest for tourists with its dissimilarity to the capital of neighboring states. The main thing here, of course, is not the historical and cultural value of its attractions, but coloring, which arises due to a sharp chaotic mixing of buildings in the "Soviet" architectural style, modern skyscrapers and buildings of the 19th century. It is unlikely that the city will cause admiration, but the fact that he will remember very well, that's for sure.
