The Crimean Village village is a 15-minute public transport from the city of Evpatoria. The village stretched at the Evpatoria Cape of the Kamitsky Gulf and soon, perhaps, will not be a bad resort place. But at the moment it is not impressive as a resort. To rest qualitatively there is no place to look at that. All to horror is mediocre and abandoned. Although some progress are already visible. Appeared, and new hotels, private hotels appear. But otherwise, while without comfort.
History The village is very interesting. In the 4th century BC, in his place there was a Greek settlement in the form of a small fortress. When excavations conducted in the 80s of the last century, extensive warehouses were found under the ruins of the northern wall of Greek outpost. This discovery made it possible to conclude that the inhabitants of this ancient Greek settlement were engaged in agriculture, its collection and storage before shipping to Chersonese.
Here, it is these collapsed ancient Greek outpost - the only historical attraction of the resort. Excursions as such no longer. Unless to Evpatoria.
Although, this is not the fault of the village that he did not develop as a full-fledged resort. At one time it was a closed territory. It is not fully accessible for a simple town man. On the outskirts there was a complex of cosmic long-distance communications. The complex has long been abandoned, and only two huge antennas are still towering on the ruins of the former majority of the country.
The entire village is cautious - this is one solid sanatorium "Mayak". He took mostly the entire coastal strip of the sea. Solid monopoly on the beach. All outputs to the beach are only through this pension, and accordingly it is paid (2 UAH).
The price is meager, but it is completely unpleasant that access to the sea is carried out for money. We shot the number "Adiral Club." This is something like a guest house, but with more improved comfort. It has everything for a normal, comfortable stay. Decent, bright rooms, their own kitchen. And if it were not for the swimming pool, in which the evenings splashed with the defense, with boredom could "die."
Rest is not expensive and not cheap. It prevented that accommodation together with 3 more meals. In total, our accommodation, together with nutrition on four people (2 adults and 2 children), for ten days, it turned out 4, 5 TIS. Not much, but also a lot for such a "outfice." Everything is well in the hotel, with the exception of remotely from the sea. Yes, and landscapes from the window did not please at all. Instead of a pleasant resort greens - the scorched steppe. Scratched somehow.
To the sea of meters 400 "Toppet" with children. Beaches as such - sand, decent, pretty well-groomed, but the service is none of them. If you do not have time to take a place in the morning, after, there is nothing to do on the beach with children. It is not hot, there are no beach umbrellas, and there is no rental as such.
The sea in July warm, but with big but ... a lot of jellyfish. Not clear rings closer to dinner lift the whole torture from the bottom, catching on the beach algae. So I have bathed or in the morning - when the sea is clean or closer in the evening. Such a schedule of bathing was not particularly pleased.
With children in the resort go completely not where. A couple of times went in the evening in the Pension "Lighthouse". They have there at least some civilization. There are a couple of not particularly expensive children's cafes, and beach children's entertainment.
Such myself, a standard set of slides and bananas, and the beaches are more enlarged. In the village itself came once. Horror. A couple of stores, pharmacy, and several stalls with fruit. - That's all the sights, except for the excavation of an ancient Greek outpost.
Rested weakly, waited more. The resort is so-so, at once, clean for familiarization. Maybe a little later, when the infrastructure of entertainment and the service will be adjusted, it will be possible to return once again, and so far very, very mediocre.
