Each city of the republic deserves separate attention, but I want to tell about my love for the most green and, in my opinion, a beautiful city that has already become my family - Bender.
Of course there are not so many attractions, but they are! First of all, it is the Bendery Fortress, perhaps the main and most famous historical value of the city.
The fortress was erected back in the 16th century and to this, her day did not destroy no enemies. Now there is a historical museum with very interesting and curious exhibits in the fortress, where the guide will tell you not only the history of the fortress, but also numerous legends associated with this place. It is rumored that many seen in the dungeons of the fortress of the lead, people disappeared, who hunt the treasure, according to the local attachment, unpretentious wealth is reliably hidden in the territory of the fortress by the Hetman Mazepa. And they also say that it was over the Baron Münhhausen Baron, which was found on the core, which was found and installed as a reminder of his stay at the Transnistrian land.
Preobrazhensky Cathedral of the 19th century building is also an architectural value and pride Bender. The cathedral was not once restored, but they tried not to distort the initial appearance.
We have a beautiful embankment, a memorial on the Square of Heroes, where the eternal flame burns, many monuments including the monument to General Lebedev, who here really love and honor the good memory of him and his contribution to the victory of Transnistrians.
Who comes to us say that we are stuck in the Soviet Union, maybe somewhere they are right, but is it bad? In addition, it concerns not life in general, here we keep up with the times.
