Iron Port is a small resort village in the Kherson region. As in the rest of the resort places of Ukraine, it was bizarrely mixed into a single wild cocktail as the remnants of the USSR with his "chic" service and new trends of developing "capitalism".
Here, a private little courtyard can stand nearby, with a proud inscription on the rotational gates "Family hotel, there are places", and the dinosaur of the times of the Soviet Union, with half-centuries living in the corps, and quite successful mini-hotels, where the welcome hosts are trying to create comfort and Comfort, and chic hotels, recreation in which you will do a little cheaper than in Turkey or Egypt in five stars.
The streets are broken, surrounded by dust and traces of the vital activity of vacationers, and the smell of shawarma is in the air. Along the sea entertainment embankment for every taste, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, dining rooms and cafes, stalls and mini markets, rides and entertainment for children. A few years ago, aquapark was built here. There are water entertainment for holidaymakers.
The beach ... Well, as in any resort town of Ukraine - in the season of the apple to fall there is no place to find yourself a corner or occupy a place from an early morning, or it is almost on the coastline near the coastline. There are umbrellas on the beach, you can rent chaise lounges. Sand is dirty, nobody is not concerned about the sandy beach, it seems that if in his "mini-hotels" owners at least somehow support cleanliness and comfort, then outside - "Although the grass does not grow."
The sea is cleaner than in Odessa, Koblevo or Chernomorette in Ochakov, unless of course there are no stinking algae, which sometimes silent mountains lie on the beach. Often you can meet jellyfish, and such meetings are not always pleasant.
The last our visit to this resort left an indelible trace, and beat off the hunt to rest at Ukrainian resorts for a long time. We rested 5 days, broke out of the fried noisy city, and all these 5 days, the whole area of the Iron Port was stood without electricity, and the owners of hotels could not solve anyone who was to blame, and what to do. But these are Polwy, unfortunately, we witnessed a storm at sea, and it became clear that "the salvation of drowning is the work of the hands of the immersing." Neither rescuers, no ambulance worn, did not wait for his life to no avail the random witnesses fought. After that, we definitely decided for themselves, in the Iron Port, and in principle, for the resorts of Ukraine, there are no foot, wait for the civilization to come to them.
