Many, with the Word of Holland, immediately imagine tulips, and indeed, this northern country is famous for its tulips. Many people go to Holland precisely to admire such bully flowers as tulips, daffodils and crocuses. Many are also called Amsterdam "Northern Venice" because the city literally stands on the water, there is a huge number of channels. The main of them are Princenergraht, Herenght, Keyserrsgraht and Single.
In Amsterdam, everyone will find something for themselves. Favorites Pubs and Music in Folk Style can visit Remrandplain Square, on which such many bars of pubs and cafes, in which you can drink beer and listen to the music that your eyes are simply running.
However, most tourists travel to Amsterdam in April and not for the sake of pubs, but for the sake of tulips, it is in the middle of spring that the tulip festival passes. The biggest exhibition will usually take place in Kekenhof Park, 2km from Amsterdam and this year (2014) it will open on March 20. In the territory of about 32 hectares, tourists can wander around the day by approximately 15 km of the park's paths viewing the magnificent varieties of the Holland symbol.
The opening of the festival will take place as usual on the ladies square in the center of Amsterdam.
Another flower attraction of Amsterdam is the fleemenmark market. This is a real paradise for flowerflowers. By the way, since it is just a huge market, and there are few places in the city, then the counters are located right on the barges on the Channel Channel. Here you can buy everything - from pots to the bulbs of the plants themselves.
And the prices here on the bulbs are much lower than for example in Kiev, in Amsterdam for 4 euros you can buy 10 bulbs of collectible varieties in Kiev, when in Kiev, if you find these bulbs, they will stand from 15 euros for 5 pieces. Personally, I scaled about 30 bulbs and landed them into large pots on the balcony at the end of autumn.
Amsterdam is very small, calm and green city, there are so many parks that sometimes it seems as if they just crowd out people. Of course, the largest of them are Kekenhof, but the second beauty is VoDelpark, it is a classic English park, with open areas, picturesque ponds
and green shadowcases.
In Amsterdam, it is worth going to all lovers of nature and flowers, I think and the children will also like it here, of course, and who does not love flowers?
Tulips are absolutely unpretentious in care, it is worth learn a couple of basic rules, well, and have at least a big balcony or loggia, and better the dacha and you will create a little Amsterdam at home.
