Today we will discuss the province of Surathathani and one of the most famous sights of Thailand - Khao Sok National Park. More precisely, a trip to the Lake Cheow Lan. If you are going to go there, then the first and main recommendation - schedule for a trip for two or three days. In one day it is impossible to argue an immense, honest word, it is worth it!
The history of the occurrence of the lake belongs to the period of the modern history of the Kingdom. The solution of the king was built a dam, a huge territory was flooded and a strategic supply of fresh water of Thailand was created.

The final stop of the route will be one of the nine villages located on the lake. They are built right on the water. When the territory was decided to flood, the locals were allowed to stay, build their homes on water and engage in tourist business. What they are successfully engaged. What kind of super-income here is not talking here. Rest in these villages is supreme, residents are modest and hospitable.
Tourists are offered bungalows swinging on water, the depth of which is more than 150 meters.
The bungalows are woven houses, fortified on the logs of century-old trees, inside you will be waiting for a sleeping place and a grid over insects.

Around the real jungle, going on the island in the restroom, and they are located on the islands between which the village is dangling on the water, you can find not only a frog. Monkeys everywhere. Larger than animals we have not seen.

The number of resting moderate, and those that are, in place are not sitting. Someone leaves for excursions to the jungle. There are real houses on the trees, you can also do in them, but we did not have time to get there. There is a positive moment in the fact that in the houses in the trees we did not get - it means they will come here again and live longer.
Someone rents a canoe and rides around the islands. Someone with local guides leaves fishing.
