Rested with friends in Simeiz in the spring of 2013, in May. We decided to settle closer to the sea. Later we regretted a little about it. The whole city is located at different heights, so walking, you have to go up, then down. So our settlement near the sea was overshadowed by the fact that it had to go to the shops for 15 minutes under the mountain of the scorching heat. But it is tolerant.

The most memorable in Simeiz is parks and cafes. Absolutely in all cafes and restaurants were served delicious dishes, prices are quite acceptable. Parks are a separate topic for conversation.

Very beautiful nature, singing birds, a variety of flora was pleasantly surprised.

As for the beach - in different places it is different. Be conconna slabs and huge cobblestones were near our hotel.

Meters 200 The right is small pebbles and a good entrance to the water.

There are not much stores in the city, but there is everything you need, even a small market.

With children, there were very few people resting there, mostly or young or older people, because there are several sanatoriums.

Yes, and I would not advise I go there to rest with young children: heavy raises and descents, not very good entrance to the water.

The main advice for those who think to go to Simeiz - go best on your car.
