Sopot, ancient Polish resort city on the Baltic coast. It was founded by the orders of Napoleon, to which the doctors prescribed therapeutic baths, and the places closer to Paris and was found. And it is very good that was not found, because we would be deprived of it, in my opinion, the best Baltic resort. Better because by a combination price / quality, he is ahead of the resorts of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, not to mention the Kaliningrad region. It is ahead of the quality indicator and other Polish resorts, such as Gdansk. Here is more comfortable, less noise, cleaner air. The city, in itself a small (population a little more than 40 thousand people), very quiet and cozy. The Baltic coast in this place is especially beautiful, possibly due to the fact that along the entire coastline about 5 kilometers long, the North Park is planted, in which the insane amount of vegetation species grows. It is a combination of fragrant plants and salted air of the Baltic Sea allows you to breathe especially easily. Moreover, Polish pulmanists often prescribe their patients with rest in Sopot, in the local balneological sanatorium.
But silence and comfort, it does not mean that it will be boring here. There is something to see where to walk where to go. The city itself is beautiful and keeps many monuments of architecture of the late 18th, early 19th century. There is also a wooden mole (more than 500 meters) in Europe.
It will not be bored here to relax and with children. In the city there is an amusement park with children's cafes, many kindergartens, and most importantly, there was not so long ago built, again the largest water park in Europe, which comes to having fun and relax children from all over Poland.
