The Spanish city of Granada, as it were, stretched from the north to south, and a significant part of it occupy in general, the sleeping areas - in the north of Almanhayar, in the west of Ronda and Chan, and in the south of Henil and Zaidin. Realejo is the former Jewish quarter and there are also a lot of small streets, which remained from the period of the XVI-XVII centuries. But if you compare this area with Albaisin, then the streets are more ordered here.
In principle, hence the hand to serve both to the cathedral, and before the Alhambra, which makes accommodation here very convenient for those tourists who decided to concentrate directly at sightseeing. In addition, the advantage of living here is that there is enough restaurants, bars, cafes and discos.
In the central area, in general, there are always a lot of tourists walking along the pedestrian streets nearby with the cathedral, or on the Grand Via. There is the main number of shops and boutiques in the city, and also widely represented shops of souvenirs. Also here are the famous Alcaistraia Quarter, where there are several trading streets made in Arabic style.
Well, among this, the center is the cathedral and the monastery of San Heronimo, that is, these are the two most significant places that visit visitors especially attract. Accommodation in the central quarter will be less calm than for example, in Realejo or Albaisin, but you will feel here on yourself the beat of the urban life pulse.
Prices for accommodation in Granada are generally lower than, for example, Madrid, Valencia or Barcelona. In the hostel, you can settle from 10 euros per person, and a five-star hotel from 400 to 500 euros. Some tourists prefer to stop somewhere in private apartments, and this also in Granada is quite possible.
