And today, and the city itself decided to give tribute to his historical roots, and in 1989 created Tandania. To date, this is the oldest center in the whole of Australia. Surprisingly, the center operates exclusively representatives of indigenous settlers.
Center curators are constantly updating the expositions and are looking for new works of talented artists, sculptors. Tandans are very interesting from the point of view of cultural features, since there are many national wind instruments, such as dijirid, or wooden / bamboo tubes.
