Ishgl is one of the most pretty ski resorts in Austria. He quite picturesquely spread in the Paznutal valley in the western part of Tyrol. In fact, it is possible only to surprise, as for some literally a quarter of a century, in principle, a regular village with all the relevant delights of the peasant life was able to turn into an expensive and incredibly fashionable ski resort, which is coming to the primitive public.
Although if you understand, everything is in principle naturally, since the surrounding mountains most perfectly approached in order to build a large ski center here, the highest strengths are constantly careful about the stable snow cover, well, the local peasants were surprisingly quite both enterprising.
Now at the resort there is a very extensive zone of skiing - almost 235 kilometers of trails, which received the beautiful name of Silvrett Arena. However, in essence it serves almost immediately two resorts, or rather, the Austrian Ischgl and the Swiss samoon. In this regard, it is generally divided into two parts by the state border, which skiers naturally violate many times a day.
About the Austrian part of the resort can be said that it is much more interesting, and the slopes here in general is more abruptly. Immediately three super modern gondolas constantly raises skiers to Hidalp, and there they are pretty a pretty selection of long (sometimes up to 7 kilometers) open and mostly moderate trance.
The fact that the slopes are located in the northern part, as well as decent heights constantly provide sustainable snow cover here, which, if necessary, can be supported by snow guns. For professionals, approximately fifth of all this area is equipped here, that is, 10 "black" trails, in which the total length is about 40 kilometers.
The Swiss side, on the contrary, it has to relax and to a leisure rest, to the dissolution of Madame Kliko and to shopping in the shops of duty-free trade in Samnown. Well, they return to the slopes of tourists in a luxurious two-story lift directly from the Samnauna in the Sunny Bowl "Alps Three". Almost all of it is predetermined by cableways and mainly "red-blue" tracks, so the novice skiers from Ishli seek to get here.
Well, the resort of Ishgl is very and very highly honored by Freeride and snowboarders. We can say that the local fan park "PlayStation® Vita Ischgl Snowpark" in Tyrol today is perhaps the largest. On the mountain is always very fun.
Here, according to the tradition in the midst of the winter season, very impressive snow sculptures are brewed. For example, you can meet here a dazzling white five meters of Naomi Campbell, dressed in a ball gown. By the way, the feeling of the eternal holiday does not leave tourists even in the town itself. Literally everything is here - shops, discos, restaurants work to create an impeccable image of a very rich cheerful resort.
By the way, according to the tradition of the ski season, some of the celebrities in the world level, for example, the genus of Stuart or Madonna, are invited to the opening of the ski season and closure in Ishgle. In order to stay in Ishgla, there are chic 4-star hotels in a wide range. However, housing here is not at all cheap.
Perhaps the lawful pride of this resort is the five-star hotel "Throfana Royal". There they knew many guests, well, but for dinner without a suit and tie there are simply not allowed. More fiscal can be stopped in neighboring towns - Capple and Tallur. There are more modest riding zones and, perhaps, the best conditions for families with young children. By the way, it is possible for 10-15 minutes on a free ski basin to get from Ishlog.
