The Austrian Ski Resort Bad Gastein has certainly gained a reputation for a truly tsarist resort, which is a favorite place not only by the Austrian nobility, but also rich foreign guests. This wonderful town of Human Solva has long dubbed the Austrian Monte Carlo.
Moreover, the similarity between these two resorts is quite obvious, since they both are distinguished by chic architectural ensembles and amazingly magnificent natural landscapes. Here in essence goes mostly glamorous public, because here there is its own casino, which is also the largest institution of this kind in mountainous terrain.
In addition to the fact that the Austrian Resort of Bad Gastein is one of the beautiful ski resorts, it is also known for its hot springs, which of course have excellent medical properties.
As for skiing clause, the resort is a real ski paradise, consisting of more than 200 kilometers of superbly equipped trails, and besides that there are no touch slopes. The resort is essentially located on several mountain levels and is a stunningly beautiful terrain for lovers of walks on mountain slopes.
The resort is located in the Gastein Valley at an altitude of 1002 meters from the sea level, and is somehow part of the huge ski area under the general name "Ski Gastein", which in turn out of four parts.
The first of them is called Bad Gastein - this is the oldest region in which there are many historic hotels and in previous times there were emperors and the most important people of the state. The second part is called Hofgastein Bad and represents a more modern part, but, but also quite unique.
The third Sport Gastein zone is located separately from the first two and is not associated with them with elevators, and there is no housing nearby there, and to get there you need to use the car, or Ski-Base. The fourth zone is a separate town of Dorf Gastein, which is 8 kilometers from the resort area and is also not connected with other zones.
In addition to the fact that Bad Gastein is a ski resort, it is also considered to be a pearl among health resorts, which are located in the Gastein Valley.
In total, there are 17 thermal sources here, which in general nourish all the thermal centers of the resort of healing hot water, giving all the restful beautiful well-being and vitality.
