First of all, before planning your placement in the Black Sea Resort, Sutomore, you must decide for yourself - what will be the main goal of your holiday. That is, it will be a beach or a part or excursion, and then then choose the area of residence.
The fact is that Sutomore is an exclusively seasonal resort, unlike other cities, such as Budva, Bar, or Herceg Novi, in which activity continues all year round. Therefore, in the Sutomore in the summer there is a tourist boom, with a concomitant pillar, well, and outside the season everything is gray and very noble.
Conditionally, the entire resort is divided into several zones. There is a central part, there is a zone in which the local population lives and there are still such areas that we have called "country". Well, then there are already suburbs and there are also housing, which is in principle more suitable for long-term accommodation, but not for short vacation.
The central district of Sutomor is one that is located in the immediate vicinity of the Promenade and from the beach. It is here that the whole tourist life is concentrated in essence. If you settle on the street, which leads from the sea to the bus stop, then it is less noisy, but it will still be here, as you are lucky.
At the height of the tourist season, this place is reminiscent of some kind of anthill - Cafe are all overflowing, a bitter street is nacked by holidaymakers, it comes from each of each of their own music, and all this merges into a certain cacophony of sounds. In this area, the fun continues from sunset and up to the last visitor. For example, in the next resort, the bar essentially all fun already sits after 10 pm.
If you are not confused by the neighborhood with all sorts of foam parties, and you yourself want to sing with everyone in karaoke, and also make other madness, you can settle directly directly on the waterfront. There are hotels, as well as many apartments, and other places for accommodation too. Only here you can give one advice - you should not rent housing at once for the entire period, because the next day you can bother all this noise and gaps, and you will not pay in advance then you can not move somewhere in another place.
The Zagorne area is somewhat north of the Sutomore bus station. Mostly it consists of private low houses. Everything is very quiet here and calmly, and there are practically no tourists here. There is no big hotels, entertainment establishments and there are no noisy parties, respectively. However, oddly enough, it is nevertheless located 5-10 minutes walk from all this tourist madness.
But at the same time there are small shops and beautiful restaurants for locals. The advantage of this area is that there is a major bus stop here, from where in principle, if desired, you can go to any corner of Montenegro. Well, if you're lucky, you can completely ride on the local train to Podgorica or to the bar.
In the district of Zarechye in Sutomore, a very large number of houses were bought by Russians, so you should not be surprised by a dense neighborhood with our compatriots. Even in the midst of the tourist season in the area there is always accommodation for living, well, and outside the season it is simply gorgeous. In the summer you can find spacious rooms here from 10 euros, but they disassemble rather quickly, or renting a whole home if desired. The prices of it start from 100 euros per day, but everything depends on the convenience and from the state of the housing itself.
As for the suburbs of the sutomor, then there are the southern tip of the city beach and part of the coast to the Ratats Peninsula, which is halfway from the sutomor to the adjacent bar. This place is very calm, however there are several features, thanks to which it is not suitable for all tourists. Housing in terms of its quality here is quite good, and the prices are wonderful fabulous - 20 euros for apartments, and in the midst of the tourist season.
However, there are minuses, because you will need a car, because you do not walk to the beach from here. There is a private beach here, but he is an amateur. Then it can be very boring here, because this area is essentially a village with all the consequences arising from here, and there is no supermarkets. Then you can live here only in the apartment, and there are practically no hotels or guesthouses in the area.
Not all tourists traveling in Sutomore especially for the first time, they know that the selection of hotels is very scarce, so the main tourist accommodation provides the private sector. However, there is no reason to fear it, because in Montenegro, the private sector is in a very decent state. But it is still better before renting private apartments, be sure to read the reviews of previous guests.
Guesthouses and apartments prevail in Sutomor, and the hotels can be tens. However, it may not be necessary for them so much in this place. By the way, accommodation in the Sutomores hotel does not guarantee you the first line, since some of them are located on a very decent distance from the sea. Those hotels that are available in Sutomore mainly refer to the category of three-star, but the tops are not observed there at all. Only in general, in any case, it is necessary to read reviews.
Local housing rental prices are very dependent on the season. The highest season naturally continues from June and until the end of August. On average, it is necessary to focus on 30 euros per day, but in principle you can find housing and cheaper, but it will be distant from the sea and not very comfortable living conditions are possible.
If you want to rent accommodation for a long time, then in this case, of course, it is better to choose a sutomor, because here it is quite possible to rent a house at quite adequate prices. At the same time, you should understand that the same exactly house on the shore of the Boko-Kotor bays to you at least cost three times more expensive. Well, during the off-season rental prices fall, and the choice of housing is naturally increasing, so you can spend some part of the autumn at all on the banks of the warm Adriatic Sea, and all this for comfortable 10 euros per day.
