There is nothing particularly noteworthy in the Chernogorsk resort of Sutomore. However, you can stroll through the central streets and admire the houses built in the eighteenth-twentieth centuries, but not more. Therefore, the main attractions of the resort can be called two fortresses, and both are on the outskirts of the town.
One of them is called High Nheai. You will find it in the north-west direction from the city. You can get here directly from the Adriatic highway, however, the only entrance to the fortress is from its western side, so it will have to get it first.
This fortress was built by Venetians in 1542. Therefore, now on the most important gates to the fortress, their emblem can be distinguished, namely the winged lion. Of course, the fortress was very dilapidated, and no one watches for her, so the entrance is completely free.
The second fortress in Sutomore has two names at once. One sounds like Tabia, and the second bare bare. The fortress is located in the southeast direction directly on the rocks that hang over the sea. You can walk there from the southern tip of Sutomore, or from the western edge of the central beach.
This fortress is destroyed even more than High Nheai, although she was built later. So she was erected by Turks in 1862. There is also a free entrance, but there are extremely beautiful views of the sutomor and on the entire coast.
In addition, you can visit several Christian religious shrines near Sutomore. The Church of St. Dimitria was built even much earlier than the Fortress of High Nheai - back in the thirteenth century. It is acting and located in the center of strengthening almost at the highest point of the mountain.
Then you can look into the church of the Holy Fekla. It was also built in the thirteenth-fourteenth centuries. Inside the church there are two altars - both Orthodox, and Catholic, as well as two of the same cemeteries outside. The church is located in the northwestern part of the city and is valid.
Closer to Baru is the Rattc Monastery at Cape with the same name. The very first complex in this place was built in the twelfth century, and somewhere 300 years later, he was rebuilt. Since the monastery was destroyed by Ottoman troops, now only ruins remained from him.
