I traveled in Yalta in March - came on trolleybus from Simferopol. The ticket costs 15 hryvnia.
Cool - in Simferopol, the snow lies, it is also cold on the track, but in Alushta, the more Yalta is warm.
Two and a half hours - and I am in place.
Wandered through the streets. Green around, palm trees are growing, cool. Landscapes are delightful.
Strolled in the famous Yalta embankment (Chekhov's lady with a dog remember?). Despite the "non-season", people have a lot. In the summer it will not push around at all.
There are many old buildings and a variety of monuments on the embankment. And also - cafes, restaurants, hotels.
Rose and walked through other quarters. There are already Soviet high-rise buildings here.
About Yalta has already been said and written a lot, so I will say my opinion, it is necessary to come, but not in the summer. Crowds of the people, refrigerated to heaven, scored public transport - all this attributes of summer in many resort cities. But in spring or autumn - the very time. People are a bit, lower prices. True, it is problematic in the sea.
I went to the same way as I arrived - on trolleybus.
