A small island of Samui attracted us with friends by beaches, abundance of fruit and colorful landscapes. Chaweng Beach did not disappoint us, giving soft sand and clean sea. Restaurants spreading along the coast are pleased with the sophistication of the kitchen. They are decorated with great taste and variety of design. Beach Maenam us, unfortunately, upset by the abundance of garbage, was thrown by waves (maybe we just did not succeed). Moving around the island is more convenient, in my opinion, on the scooter (easily rented almost every corner. Only it is worth being attentive to already existing scratches and chips, so that later you did not put them in the bill). For acquaintance with the island, we took a tour (400 baht per person), looked at funny cliffs called Grandmother and grandfather, Big Buddha, a mummified monk, a beautiful park with waterfalls and elephants. We were struck by the abundance of birds on the island, jumping along the palm trees (right in front of our house!). There are many dogs. Pots are very friendly, although not always well maintained. I liked the evening laundries with souvenirs and local flea markets. In general, Samui is an excellent place for a relaxing holiday and work at home / freelance.
