A cozy town called the White Church spread on the bank of the Roma River. Unlike the capital of Ukraine, it is possible to observe a very calm and very measured pace of life. However, the White Church is nevertheless considered to be uniquely pearl of Kiev region.
Perhaps the most famous landmark is considered any doubt the Dendrological Park "Alexandria". He is actually the oldest among such parks in Ukraine, and besides the largest. The fact is that in the XVIII century, in these parts, Count Branitsky lived in this area, who madly loved his wife, and therefore gave an order to build a fleet of unprecedented beauty. And in the honor of his beloved spouse, he gave the name of the Dendropark of Alexandria. Truly, when love lives in the heart, you can create unprecedented beauty. In order to make sure this, you must certainly visit this park.
The historic center of the White Church is definitely a lock mountain. Almost even during the Kiev Rus period, an ancient city was laid under the name of Yuriev. There is also a version that on the castle grief at that time they built a temple from which the modern name of the city itself was already occurring. When archaeological excavations were held here, then the remains of ancient defensive walls were found, relating presumably to the eleventh century. To date, almost all the most beautiful and interesting sights of the White Church itself are focused on the castle grief and the delicious panorama on the Rose River opens.
The next place is worth visiting in the White Church is the house of organ and chamber music, part-time being a church of John the Baptist. It is also located on the castle grief, and its double name has because at the beginning of the XIX century, when this building was erected for religious needs, they called him the name of John the Baptist. Well, with the arrival of Soviet power and the introduction of atheistic propaganda, the temple was naturally closed. Later, the church was converted, and since then there are chamber and organ concerts there, so his name has changed accordingly.
Literally near the House of Chamber and Organ Music is the Temple of St. George Victorious. Despite the fact that the temple was built in 2011, after all, the history of this building is much more ancient. The fact is that even during the reign of Yaroslav Wise, the construction of the Cathedral began here, which unfortunately did not live to the present day, and only in 2011 the citizens of their own forces to decide to restore this ancient Church of the times of Kiev Rus.
It often happens that educational institutions are located in some old mansions and naturally becomes another business card of the city. In the same way, it happened in the White Church - his building of the National Agrarian University certainly deserves special attention. In the building where the main building of the university is now located, in the XIX century there was a largest gymnasium on the territory of Ukraine. The building looks very impressive and unusual, so it is definitely worth paying his attention to him.
As in many old cities in the White Church, there are also their trading rows, which were built from 1809 to 1814 and were intended for the sale of a variety of goods. Local architects quite conscientiously approached the construction of them and designed a beautiful building in a classic style. Well, the uniqueness of this structure is of course the fact that it is one of the few buildings of the period that remained to our time. Presumably this word is deciphered as "Branitsky Universal Store", and according to the Soviet version, already like the "Belotserkovsky district universal store".
In general, there are so many beautiful cathedrals in the white chase. In general, in the White Church there are a lot of attractions that are directly related to the family of Counts of Branitsky. One of them is the winter residence of the graph - the so-called Winter Palace. In summer, they lived in Alexandria Park in the summer palace, which, unfortunately, was not preserved. But the Winter Palace was built in 1796. This building was erected in the characteristic style of that era - classicism. It is necessary to visit this palace in order to imagine, as in those days, solemn techniques, balls and luxurious peers were arranged here.
We must definitely visit the Belotserkovsky Museum of Museum, which is one of the largest in the Right-Bank Kyiv region. Not only externally, this building is of particular interest because it is built in a modern modernist style, but there is also a significant collection on the archaeological past of this region, the history of the Polish-Lithuanian period, the story of how the edge in the sixteenth-seventeenth centuries developed And special attention is paid to the period of the First World War.
Before the beginning of World War II, a very large number of Jewish population lived on the territory of Ukraine and the White Church in this regard was no exception. Therefore, a choral synagogue was built to meet the religious needs of these segments of the population in the city. Today, this building is considered a monument of the architecture of the XIX century, and is national importance. The appearance of this building has been preserved virtually unchanged, but internally he has changed completely dramatically. Nevertheless, the choral synagogue constantly attracts tourists to itself.
